The first week at Desert Sun University was a blur of new faces, new routines, and new possibilities.

I woke up every morning with Zoe in my arms, her naked body pressed against mine, her breath warm on my neck. The sunlight streamed through our window, casting golden patterns across her skin. It was beautiful. It was peaceful. It was everything.

“Zoe,” I whispered one morning, “wake up.”

Her eyes fluttered open. Ocean-green. Serene.

“Morning,” she said.

“Morning.”

“I love waking up like this,” she said. “With you. Without fear.”

I kissed her cunt face, reader. I kissed her as I meant it.

“I love it too,” I said. “I love everything about this.”

We started our classes that week.

Psychology, literature, and sociology for me. Psychology, creative writing, and art for Zoe.

“Darcy,” she said on our first day, “I’m nervous.”

“Nervous?”

“What if I’m not good enough? What if I can’t keep up?”

I took her hand, reader. I squeezed it tight.

“You’re going to be amazing,” I said. “You’re the smartest person I know.”

She smiled, that beautiful smile. “You’re biased.”

“Maybe.” I kissed her. “But I’m also right.”

Our first class was Psychology 101 with Professor Chen.

He was a kind man with gentle eyes and a warm smile. He welcomed us to the class without comment about our nudity.

“Welcome, everyone,” he said. “This is Psychology 101. We’ll be exploring the human mind, human behavior, and human connection.”

I looked at Zoe, reader. She was listening intently.

“One of the things we’ll discuss,” Professor Chen continued, “is trauma. How it affects us. How we heal from it. And how we can use our experiences to help others.”

Zoe’s hand found mine under the desk.

“We’ll also discuss consent,” he said. “The importance of choice. The power of agency.”

I squeezed Zoe’s hand, reader. I squeezed it tight.

After class, Professor Chen asked us to stay behind.

“Miss Hurst,” he said, “Miss Zoe. May I speak with you?”

We nodded, reader. We stayed.

“I know about your past,” he said. “About the program at Barnett.”

I was quiet, reader. I didn’t know what to say.

“I’m not here to judge,” he continued. “I’m here to help. If you ever need someone to talk to, my door is always open.”

Zoe spoke up. “Thank you, Professor Chen.”

He smiled. “You’re welcome, Zoe. And please, call me David.”

We walked across campus after class.

The desert sun was warm on our skin. The palm trees swayed in the breeze.

“Zoe,” I said, “I think we’re going to like it here.”

“I think so too.” She smiled. “I really think so.”

We stopped at a bench overlooking a small pond.

“Can I tell you something?” she asked.

“Anything.”

“I’m scared.” She shook her head. “Not of the classes. Not of the people. But of ... forgetting.”

“Forgetting?”

“Forgetting who I was.” She paused. “The boxes made me who I am. The surrender made me who I am. I don’t want to lose that.”

I touched her face, reader. I touched her cheek.

“You won’t lose it,” I said. “It’s part of you. Always.”

She kissed me, reader. She kissed me as she meant it.

That night, we had our first real session at Desert Sun.

Not in a box. Not in a pool area. Just in our room, on our bed, with nothing but our love.

“Zoe,” I said, “I want to ride you.”

She smiled. “I know.”

“Not like before. Not like at Barnett.” I touched her face. “Like us. Like we are now.”

She nodded, reader. She understood.

“I’m ready,” she said. “I’m always ready.”

I positioned myself over her cunt face, reader.

Slowly. Deliberately. Lovingly.

Her tongue found me immediately. Warm. Familiar. Home.

“This is different,” I gasped.

“Different how?”

“Different because it’s ours.” I started to move. “Different because no one else is watching.”

She laughed, that beautiful laugh. “I like it.”

I rode her, reader. I rode her as I’d never ride anyone else.

We came together, reader. We came together in our new home.

Afterward, we lay in bed.

The window was open, letting in the warm desert breeze.

“Zoe,” I said, “I love you.”

“I know.” She kissed me. “I love you too.”

I held her close, her body pressed against mine.

“Thank you,” I said.

“For what?”

“For choosing me.” I touched her cunt face. “For trusting me. For loving me.”

She laughed, that beautiful laugh.

“I’d choose you again,” she said. “A thousand times. A million times.”

I kissed her, reader. I kissed her as if we’d never stop.

The weeks passed quickly.

We fell into a rhythm. Wake up. Go to class. Study. Make love. Sleep. Repeat.

It was simple, reader. Peaceful. Perfect.

“Darcy,” Zoe said one evening, “look at this.”

She handed me a sketchbook. I opened it, reader. I was stunned.

They were drawings of us. Intimate drawings. Passionate drawings. Drawings of our bodies intertwined, our faces full of love.

“Zoe,” I whispered, “these are beautiful.”

“You think so?”

“I know so.” I looked at her. “You’re an artist. A real artist.”

She smiled, her eyes glistening with tears.

“I want to show them,” she said. “I want to share them with the world.”

Zoe’s art professor was impressed.

“These are extraordinary,” she said. “The intimacy. The emotion. The vulnerability.”

Zoe blushed, reader. She was embarrassed.

“Thank you,” she said.

“I’d like to feature some of your work in the student gallery,” the professor continued. “If you’re willing.”

Zoe looked at me, her eyes wide.

“Darcy,” she said, “what do you think?”

I took her hand, reader. I squeezed it tight.

“I think you should do it,” I said. “I think you should show the world who you are.”

The exhibition was in April.

Zoe was nervous, reader. So nervous.

“What if they don’t like them?” she asked. “What if they think they’re too much?”

“Then they don’t understand,” I said. “And that’s their loss.”

I kissed her, reader. I kissed her as I meant it.

“You’re going to be amazing,” I said. “You’re always amazing.”

The exhibition was a success.

Students and faculty filled the gallery, admiring Zoe’s work. There were gasps of appreciation. Whispers of wonder. Tears of joy.

“Darcy,” Zoe whispered, “they like them.”

“I told you they would,” I said.

A woman approached us. She was older, perhaps in her fifties, with kind eyes and a warm smile.

“Miss Zoe,” she said, “my name is Dr. Morrison. I’m the head of the psychology department.”

Zoe blinked, surprised. “Dr. Morrison?”

“I saw your work,” she continued. “The intimacy. The vulnerability. The trust.” She paused. “I’d like to talk to you about a research project.”

Dr. Morrison explained her idea.

“I’m studying the psychology of surrender,” she said. “Why do people choose to submit? What they gain from it. How can it heal?”

Zoe was quiet, reader. She was thinking.

“Your experiences would be invaluable,” Dr. Morrison continued. “If you’re willing to share them.”

Zoe looked at me, reader. She looked uncertain.

“Darcy,” she said, “what do you think?”

I took her hand, reader. I squeezed it tight.

“I think you should do it,” I said. “I think you should help people understand.”

Zoe agreed to participate.

She met with Dr. Morrison once a week. They talked about the boxes. The surrender. The healing.

“Zoe,” Dr. Morrison said one day, “how did it feel? Being in the box?”
