Living the sweet life! Kayla Valentine settles into Britain with giant cocktails, VIP partying and a VERY attentive male companion

American singer enjoys a night on the tiles with Hollywood star Chloë Goodman after sharing cosy London sightseeing pictures

Some visitors arrive in Britain with a guidebook and a sensible pair of shoes.

Kayla Valentine appears to have found a rather more comfortable arrangement: a Hollywood hostess, a handsome local escort and a place on the right side of the velvet rope.

The American country singer celebrated her arrival in Westmouth on Saturday with an evening that began in a pub and ended in the VIP section of Central Pier nightclub, where she posed alongside actress Chloë Goodman with a cocktail almost as attention-seeking as the photograph itself.

Dressed in a little black dress and cowboy boots, Valentine seemed determined to bring a touch of Nashville to the seaside.

Although there was nothing particularly modest about the drinks.

Goodman, meanwhile, looked thoroughly at home beside her new companion. England’s Rose has had plenty of practice at this sort of thing.

The good life: A private bar, famous friends and no shortage of refreshments. Valentine appears to be adjusting well.

The photographs, shared with Valentine’s followers throughout the evening, offered a generous tour of the singer’s Saturday night.

There were drinks. There was dancing. There were famous friends. And, for anyone concerned that something might have been left undocumented, there were more photographs.

For a performer still introducing herself to much of the British public, Valentine has certainly wasted little time establishing that she knows the right people. Goodman’s company is especially useful in that respect. A photograph alongside an Oscar-winning actress is rather more likely to travel than another picture of an American singer most readers are still learning to recognise.

Whether the evening does quite as much for Valentine’s music remains to be seen.

First stop: the pub

The nightclub outing followed drinks at The Mariner, where Valentine had already begun supplying followers with pictures of her evening. In one image, the singer smiles from a table crowded with glasses and companions. Another places her beside an unknown young man who has been making increasingly regular appearances in her British travel album.

Of course, there is nothing unusual about going to the pub with friends.

It is the subsequent upgrade that most people might find harder to arrange.

At Central Pier, Valentine was pictured enjoying the club’s VIP facilities alongside Goodman and their companions. The raised area offered a comfortable setting from which to enjoy a night out without having to spend all of it among the people paying to enjoy theirs downstairs.

Quite what the evening cost the visiting singer is not apparent from her enthusiastic photographic record.

The hospitality, however, certainly seems to have agreed with her.

Making herself at home

Valentine’s own pictures were only part of the evening’s coverage.

Other clubgoers also photographed the singer and Goodman, including one shot of the pair deep in conversation away from their carefully presented cocktail pose.
