Chapter 3

Lieutenant Hector Fuentes, received a call at home. He was watching game one of the World Series, the Astros had barely made it again, beating the Mariners in Game five of the ALDS in the eleventh inning. A walkoff home run by Jose Altuve brought in the needed two guys on base to tie the score, his run put them over to a seven to six win! Then they had won every game in their league Championship. They were playing the Yankees in the World Series ànd were the underdogs.
It was the bottom of the eight inning when the phone rang! He knew it was business,
“Fuentes, this better be good!”
“Lieutenant Fuentes, this is Colonel Chuck Walker of the NSA! Lieutenant, I understand you are in charge of investigating a series of kidnappings of young girls in the Houston area! And that the last kidnapping happened a couple of days ago?”
“Yes, Sir! This time a boy was taken, his name is Jim Freeman and her name is Maria Gonzales. He is fifteen and she is fourteen!”
“Can you send us their pictures to this number, please?”
“Sure, I have them on my phone, hold on. If I lose you, call me back!”
Hector pulled up the pictures and sent them one after another. Then got back on the line with the Colonel.
“Lieutenant, you’re not going to believe this, but I have their location!”
“How in the world did you get that?”
“Have you ever heard of the so-called “Dark Web”?”
“Yes, but I wasn’t sure it really existed!”
“Yes it definitely exists! We here at the NSA, have been trying to break into the damn thing for five years! Tonight just twenty minutes ago, we received a broadcast from inside the Dark Web. It allowed us to crack into the damn thing. The broadcast was from Jim Freeman! When we opened it up, it was a pornographic live video of a boy and a Hispanic girl. Both young, I just checked their faces. It’s Jim and Maria. They were later joined by two sisters, are you missing any sisters?”
“Yes, the Westbrook sisters Jenny and Cathy! I’ll send you those as well!”
Hector sent them and returned to the line.
“Yes! I just confirmed that that’s them. The boy was fucking the older of the sisters and we noticed something peculiar. One of my men had been a ham radio operator and had used his wireless system to talk to people all over the world using Morse Code. He recognized the signal the boy was sending and wrote it out! He was fucking the girl in Morse Code! He sent it six times as he fucked both sisters! That boy has stamina! Here is what he sent! Write this down! SOS 126 East Commerce St. Brenham TX, then it repeats five more times!”
“That boy has come though! I’ll get the ball rolling to get them! That’s a warehouse just a few blocks from the courthouse! Can you send me the video, for evidence!”
“I’ll send it right now! Good luck! Get those guys that kidnapped them, and save the kids! Call me and let me know how it turns out, please!
“Will do, thanks for calling! Adios!”
For the next hour, Hector was on the phone! First to the Brenham Police Department. He had them station four officers around the warehouse. Another was to a Judge for a search warrant to search the entire building. The next was to his boss, who had to authorize the deployment of the DPS SWAT team to the location as well as the BPD SWAT team. He left to go there himself.
