Glow

You strum along a melody,
A love song meant to set you free,
And everyone can see,
How amazing you must be.
And I know,
Yes I know,
The real reason for your glow.
You open you mouth and sing,
It’s such a lovely thing,
You bask in the joy they bring,
But I know exactly what you mean.
And I know,
Yes I know,
The real reason for your glow.
In the dark behind the stage,
Within our story a new page,
You alone quell my rage,
And I hold the key to your cage.
I know,
Yes I know,
He real reason for your glow.
My siren, you sing that song for me,
You know that I will set you free,
I know you hold a key,
The only thing to command me.
You know now too,
Yes you know too,
Our love is the only thing that’s true.
