Am enjoying reading your postings. I really got a laugh about your granddaughter’s quip about men being able to concentrate on two things at once. Here’s one that a girlfriend that was studying to become a nurse told me:
Two nurses, Sue and Mary, were on their coffee break catching up with everything that was new in their lives. Mary suddenly sat up straight and said, “Did you hear about the baby boy born in the NICU with no eyelids?” “No,” Sue said, “What happened?” Mary said, “They circumcised the boy and the surgeon used the skin to make him new eyelids.” “Isn’t it wonderful how improvements in surgery can make peoples lives better,” Sue said, “Will he be alright?” Mary replied, “The doctor told the parents the surgery was a success, but he would be cockeyed for the rest of his life.”

When they wanted to see bones, they created X-Ray machines. When they wanted to see the inside of a brain, they created MRI machines. When they wanted to see inside of a pregnancy, they created Ultrasound machines. So WHY is there a finger up my ass during a prostate exam?
You’re not really married until you and your spouse have several shows that you have to watch together, not alone (or else!). But you can’t watch those shows until after the kids go to bed. But by the time the kids go to bed, you have no time to watch those shows because you’re too tired. So you end up only watching 13 minutes of the show before falling asleep.
