Sign, sign, everywhere a sign.
A sign at a shoe repair shop: “We will heel you. We will save your sole. We will even dye for you.”
A sign at Optometrist office: “If you can’t see what you’re looking for, you’re in the right place.”
On the side of a plumbers van: “We’ll repair what your husband fixed.”
A sign in front of a funeral home: “Please drive carefully. We’ll wait.”
A sign in front of a restaurant: “Don’t just stand there, hungry! Come in and get fed up!”
Sign on the back of a septic tank truck: “Caution. This vehicle contains political promises.”
Presidential Pets.
John Quincy Adams allegedly kept an aligator in a White House bathtub for several months.
Teddy Roosevelt’s children had a pet badger named Josiah, and it often bit guests.
