Actually, I understand that if you follow the draft completely, it turns out to be NINE.
I live in Indiana. It never got to the governor. Some wise guy had complained that mathematics had “rules”, so they should be made “LAWS” (or some such).

Fundamentalists got several religious folks on the Kansas State School Board a while back. They tried to introduce legislation in the state legislature to outlaw teaching evolution. Turns out their grammar wound up trying to outlaw evolution itself.
