Chapter 8

The last shuddering aftershocks of their shared climax finally subsided, leaving both women slick with sweat and breathless. Katie collapsed onto the silks beside Destiny, their bodies pressed together from shoulder to thigh. The air in the small room was heavy with the scent of sex and perfume. From his corner, the silent man shifted, the quiet rustle of his movement a reminder of his presence.

Destiny was the first to stir, rolling onto her side to face Katie. She traced a lazy finger through the dampness on Katie’s collarbone. “Fuck, you are something else,” she breathed, her voice raw with satisfaction. “I need a minute. And a drink.”

Katie could only nod, her limbs feeling like liquid. The intensity of the experience had left her euphorically drained. “A break sounds ... necessary,” she managed, a slow, sated smile spreading across her face.
