School was now out for summer, so it was holiday time. Matt had become Chloe’s lover first and her mother had asked if she wanted him to join them on holiday in Cornwall. Tina was reluctantly going with just her parents to an exclusive resort in Spain.

After Matt had dropped her off at home on the Saturday morning that he was going on holiday to Cornwall with Chloe, Tina’s parents already had their car almost packed with their cases, ready for their own holiday to a exclusive resort on the Spanish Costa del Sol. Fortunately, Tina had packed her case the day before, so it was just her carry-on that needed finishing.
They were soon in the car headed to Heathrow Airport which took less than an hour. Her dad had booked business class, so there was only a short queue to drop off their hold luggage and then they were able to relax in the British Airways business class lounge. Despite the hour, Tina helped herself to a glass of champagne and a prawn sandwich. It was not long before their flight was called and after a short wait they boarded the plane and were soon taxiing to the runway.
After a three-hour flight, they touched down in Malaga, where it was already late afternoon. By the time they had got through passport control and retrieved their luggage, another hour had passed, and it took a further hour to reach the resort in their courtesy bus.
Their first impressions were very favourable. The resort looked modern and spotlessly clean, much to Tina’s mum, Charlotte’s approval. However, her dad had an issue with their check-in.
“You must have made a mistake with my daughter’s room. I specifically requested a room adjoining ours!”
“I’m sorry, Sir, but you requested a single room for your daughter and all the adjoining rooms are doubles” the receptionist explained.
“But it’s not even on the same floor!” Richard exclaimed.
“I’m afraid all the single rooms are on the fifth floor, Sir.”
This made Tina smile, but Richard tried to regain his composure. “Alright, so will you please upgrade my daughter’s room to a double adjoining ours, I’ll pay the difference.”
The receptionist sighed “I would if I could, Sir, but we’re fully booked.”
Tina stepped forward “Don’t worry, Daddy, I’ll be fine.”
“What if you need us?” Richard asked.
Charlotte intervened “She’s 16, Richard and she has a phone.”
Richard reluctantly agreed to the room arrangements and a porter put their luggage on a trolley and took it up to their room on the second floor. Another young porter smiled broadly at Tina, took her case and said “This way chica!”
She knew he was being over-familiar and flirty, but she smiled back “Gracias, chico!”
He led her to the lifts and said “With your pretty blond hair and blue eyes, you must be from Sweden.”
She laughed “Sorry to disappoint you, but I’m from England.”
He smiled at her “But I like English girls too!”
They got out of the lift and he led her along to her room and opened the door with his master key for her to enter. “As you can see, it has a keypad for you to enter your code, so you don’t need to have a key when you are wearing so little you don’t have a pocket to keep it in.”
“But anyone who knows the code or has a master key can just walk in!” Tina exclaimed.
