After eating and clearing up, they went over to the lounge. The girls sat on one sofa, but Matt sat on the one opposite.
“Don’t you love us anymore?” Chloe asked with a grin.
“Of course I do!” he replied, smiling. “It’s just that when you two get chatting, sitting between you is like watching a tennis match from the side and it makes my neck hurt! So who’s going to start?”
“You first, Chloe!” Tina said quickly, wanting to hear how open Chloe was going to be about her dalliance first.
Chloe started by recalling the main events of their holiday and uploading some photos to the TV. When she got to the rescue story, she played the video which the newspaper guy had taken from his boat and sent to the TV station. Matt showed Tina the newspaper article and photos.

Matt replied “She did, but Chloe didn’t miss out.”
Chloe then explained about her joining Ella with Phil, her instructor while Matt took her mum and Rob to teach them sailing.
“You never did tell me why you were so late returning from your lesson with Phil and Ella that day” Matt said. “Taran was trying to wind me up saying he probably took you to Hidden Bay where the local boys take their girlfriends for sex on the beach.”
Chloe again went into her ‘Embarrassed, head in hands’ look, causing Tina and Matt to laugh at her implied admission.
“Then after the capsize drill on the last Friday, Chloe, Ella and Phil had to have a shower” Matt continued. “I went to the pub with Rob and Chloe’s mum and after almost an hour she remarked that you were taking a long time, so I explained that there was only one shower.”
Matt had to finish off the story of the rest of their holiday and then said “It’s getting late, girls. Do you want to leave Tina’s holiday confessions until tomorrow?”
Tina readily agreed, but Chloe looked disappointed. However, the girls had not been in bed together for over a fortnight, so they rushed off to claim the bathroom first.
