Chapter 33: Angel’s Heart Necklace and Purpose
She remembered how Jerry used to celebrate her birthday in previous years. A huge cake, a city-wide sensational fireworks show, and a private event. Jerry was generous and made a great show of it.
This made her the envy of all the women in Kingsland. But all of that was taken away by Rose today. Looking at the small cake Jacob had given her, she felt even more disappointed.
At this moment, Rose cut the cake in half with trembling hands, and unexpectedly cut it into an exquisite gift box.
Her beautiful eyes widened, her face filled with joy: “Is it a gift?”
“Yes.” Jerry took a plastic knife to help cut the cake and took out the gift box that was tightly wrapped in cling film.
He opened the gift box, took out the dazzling red angel heart, and put it around Rose’s neck.

Rome Black said in a trembling voice, “The material, the carving, the design, and the lifelike angel inside, it is definitely the Heart of an Angel.”
“President Miller’s generosity is incredible! Angel Heart is worth a full two hundred million!”

Rose looked at Jerry with tears in her eyes and nodded.
She then bit her red lips, mustered her courage, and asked, “Is there anything else you want to say to me?”
Jerry was stunned for a moment, looking at Rose’s expectant face.
Someone shouted, “Confess your love!”
Everyone present burst into laughter.
