Chapter 24: Who Call the police
Upon seeing this, everyone stopped.
The white dog laughed arrogantly: “At least you have some sense.”
“Only petty thugs resort to violence. I believe someone as powerful as you isn’t a brainless thug.” Jerry slowly spoke: “So, what are your conditions?”
The white dog’s expression softened, and he ordered everyone to stop.
He was very pleased with Jerry’s words and sneered, “It seems you have some insight. Black Wolf and his cowards are no match for me.”
He glanced around and said, “Since you injured my men and wrecked my place, I won’t ask for more. Fifty million, and we’ll let this matter rest.” These words immediately caused an uproar in the audience.
This isn’t just asking for an exorbitant price; this is outright robbery. The henchmen Black Wolf brought were furious, wishing they could rush up and fight White Dog right now.
But Black Wolf stopped him.
Black Wolf’s eyes were deep, and he knew that Jerry was stalling for time.
“Then I’ll give you fifty million. Will I be able to deal with these two people as I please?” Jerry smiled faintly, looking at Ena and Dan.
The white dog laughed loudly: “As long as we get the fifty million, we’ll be friends. I don’t care whether these two live or die.”
Fifty million was his entire year’s income; there was no way he wouldn’t be tempted.
But Dan panicked immediately: “Brother White, you can’t just abandon me!”

“I am absolutely loyal to you.” The usually arrogant Ena was terrified.
Jerry can still come up with 50 million.
Wouldn’t that mean I and Dan are doomed?
Jerry sneered, “Ena, did you hear me?”
“In our eyes, trash like you isn’t even worth fifty million.”
“Don’t act like you’re someone important all the time.”
“If it weren’t for me, Jerry, you’d be working as a foot masseuse by now.” Ena glared angrily at Jerry, her face flushed with rage.
She was his older sister; how could he say such hurtful things? But seeing the white dog’s disdainful look, she panicked even more.
The white dog glanced at her and snorted angrily: “Hurry up and hand over fifty million, and I won’t say another word. Take your people and leave immediately.”
Jerry smiled faintly: “Fifty million, right? I’ll burn it for you when you die.”
Upon hearing this, the white dog immediately flew into a rage.
The men on the white dog’s side raised their machetes, ready to kill Jerry. Black Wolf and his men burst into laughter.
Just then, sirens blared outside. Everyone present panicked immediately.
The most panicked were the henchmen brought by Black Wolf. They knew that the white dog had strong connections within the police department.
They also injured Dan and Ena.
If Jerry didn’t have a strong background, he probably would have been locked up.
The white dog roared, “Who the hell called the police?”
He slammed the machete into the ground, breaking through the concrete. Although he has connections at the police station, he has the upper hand tonight.
Now that the police have arrived, they can no longer extort money from Jerry. The group looked at each other and shook their heads.
Jerry smiled faintly: “I called the police. You’ve gathered a group to injure people, and I’m not allowed to call the police?”
These words caused an uproar in the audience. Everyone stared at Jerry as if he were an idiot.
Did he call the police?
Didn’t you know that Brother White Dog has strong connections in the police station?
Besides, it was clearly Black Wolf’s people who hurt people.
Isn’t he walking right into a trap?
Ena couldn’t help but laugh: “That bastard really has no brains. Just wait and see who he’ll help when the police arrive.”
“You’ve beaten me and Dan like this, so you can expect to be detained.”
The white dog retorted arrogantly, “Are you out of your mind? My connections in the police station are far beyond what you can compare to!”
The people behind him burst into laughter.
The reason the white dog was able to grow so big is because it had very strong connections within the police force.
Every time they caused trouble, even if they were taken to the police station, they would be released the next day.
Black Wolf winked and said in a deep voice, “Drop all the weapons you have.”
His underlings behind him looked puzzled and annoyed.
