Chapter 14: Slept with Sister-in-law
If Jerry isn’t out of his mind, he’ll definitely agree to their conditions obediently.
Lele also looked coldly at Jerry.
She needed Jerry’s sisters to testify for her, so she had no choice but to reluctantly distribute Jerry’s money to the Miller Family.
Jerry couldn’t help but laugh: “You guys are so good to me, making false testimonies for Lele and swindling money from your own son and brother.”
“I am so fortunate to have you all as my family.”
“Fake documents? Stop making excuses.” The older woman said angrily, “We caught you red-handed.”
Robert slammed his fist on the table, his thick eyebrows furrowing deeply: “What? Are you dissatisfied with me? Dissatisfied with this family?”
“If you have the guts, get out of the Miller Family and become an unwanted stray dog outside.”
Upon hearing this, Robert and the others looked at Jerry with arrogance. Every time they threatened to kick Jerry out of the house, Jerry would obediently comply.
Jerry sneered, his expression calm: “I still consider you all family for now.”
It’s not the right time to fall out with the Miller Family. Therefore, he could only use such ambiguous words to lower the Miller Family’s guard.
Upon hearing this, the Miller Family couldn’t help but burst into laughter. Jerry gave in. They succeeded again. As expected, Jerry was no match for this threat.
Jerry glanced at Lele, then at the Miller Family, and said calmly, “However, I won’t contribute a single penny.”
“You’re being far too naive to think you can just send me to jail so easily.” Having said that, he pushed open the door and left before they could react.
The Miller Family and Lele were stunned and stood there in shock. Not a single penny will be spent? Is he crazy? Does he really want to go to jail?
This is clearly a lose-lose situation!
As soon as he pushed open the door, Deputy Director Carter, with his hooked nose, rushed over and roared, “Who gave you permission to come out? Huh?”
“Get in here!”
Jerry gave him a cold look, barely suppressing her anger: “Director Carter, my negotiations with them broke down, can’t I come out?”
“Cuff him.” Deputy Chief Carter roared, “How dare you! Do you really think the police station is your own home? Coming and going as you please?”
Upon seeing this, several police officers pulled out handcuffs and surrounded Jerry.
“Stop!” Tim shouted. “Brown, don’t go too far!”
He pushed aside several police officers, looked at Jerry with concern, and whispered, “I’m afraid you’ll suffer for a few days. There’s nothing I can do to help you right now.”
“The bureau chief is determined to get you.”
Jerry smiled faintly: “Have the director come see me. I have something to say to him.” The sound wasn’t loud, but it was deafening to everyone’s ears. Should the chief of staff come to see him?
What a loud tone!
Even the richest man in Kingsland wouldn’t dare speak to the bureau chief like that. How dare Jerry, the mere CEO of a multi-billion dollar conglomerate?
Tim looked at Jerry in shock: “Dude, you misspoke. If you want to see the chief, I’ll take you to see him.”
He blinked frantically, trying to signal to Jerry.
“You’re right, I said I’d have the chief come to see me.” Jerry was confident, and just smiled faintly.
The scene immediately exploded.
“Who do you think you are?”
“Does he really think he can do whatever he wants just because he has money?”
“You committed a crime of coercion and still dare to act arrogantly in the police station? You’ve got some nerve.”
The Miller Family members and Lele all looked at Jerry as if he were an idiot.
Although Jerry is the chairman of JM Group, his status is still far inferior to that of the police chief of Kingsland City.
After all, Kingsland is a city that has experienced a miracle overnight, and there are at least a hundred groups with a market value of over 10 billion yuan.
There is only one police chief.
Lele’s beautiful eyes lit up, and she said with a venomous look, “Since he wants Director Mohan to see him, then Director Carter, you should grant his wish.”
“Let’s see if Director Mohan will obediently listen to him.”
Deputy Director Carter, with his hooked nose, understood Lele’s meaning and sneered, “Fine, I’ll go tell the director right now.”

“Wait...” Tim’s expression changed drastically, and he hurriedly shouted, “Jerry didn’t mean that, don’t go!”
But Deputy Director Carter didn’t even look at him, and even quickened his pace.
The audience burst into laughter.
Jerry’s arrogance is simply courting death. If Director Mohan comes in person, things will escalate significantly.
