Chapter 10: Vandalized
After a long silence, Black Wolf said, “I need to think about it carefully.”
“Okay.” Jerry signed a check and handed it to him.
“Come work as a security captain at my JM Group first. This is your salary for next year, 120,000.”
“Take the courage to go see your mother. She doesn’t care about your past; she just wants to see her son.”
Upon hearing this, Black Wolf’s eyes instantly filled with tears. After Jerry and he added each other on WeChat, he left.
Jerry couldn’t help but laugh when she saw his WeChat name and profile picture. The profile picture is of a black mongrel, and the nickname is “The Obedient Black Dog”.
After glancing at the missed calls and the flood of unread messages on WeChat, he decisively gave up the idea of going to the company.
If I go to the company, I’m afraid I’ll be in a real bind. Let’s wait and see.
He dialed Rose’s number.
Rose’s reproachful voice rang out: “You only remembered to answer my call now? Do you know how long I’ve been cleaning up your mess?”
“Thanks for your hard work.” Jerry grinned.
“The company must be in an uproar, right?”
“Yes, the entire company is practically paralyzed.” Rose said with a smile.
“Why don’t you come to my house to hide for a while?”
“Okay.” Jerry hung up the phone and drove to Rose’s house. Lying on the sofa, looking at the message Rose sent, a smile appeared on his lips.
The wedding scandal had a significant impact on the company, causing the stock price to plummet. Many shareholders were extremely anxious and desperately sought an explanation from the company.
The Miller Family also took action, organizing a strike by their employees and ruining many collaborations.
The purpose was to force myself to come forward.
In the evening, Rose returned looking tired, but her pretty face, lightly made up, was still breathtakingly beautiful.
“Thank you so much, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to find a shelter.” Jerry stood up, gave her a hug, and smiled.
“You’re really something, making me clean up your messes at the company.” Rose pushed Jerry away irritably.
“while you’re sleeping soundly at my house.”
“Why don’t you move in? You don’t have a place to live right now anyway.”
“Okay, I’ll move in. You have an empty room here anyway, it’s just sitting there empty.” Jerry’s eyes lit up.
“What?” Rose’s beautiful eyes widened: “Are you serious?”
“Of course.” Jerry nodded. “I have nowhere to live. You don’t want to see me become homeless, do you?”
Rose hesitated for a moment, then looked Jerry up and down with her beautiful eyes: “You sound so pitiful.”
Seeing that she did not refuse, Jerry took it as her agreement and went into the empty room to tidy up.
The empty room was very clean, and there was also unopened bedding. Jerry tidied up and said with satisfaction, “Not bad, let’s settle in here.”
Rose walked in carrying a plate of fruit: “Have some fruit?”
Are you really planning to stay here?
“If you don’t allow it, then forget it.” Jerry smiled faintly, staring straight at Rose: “Beautiful Miss Paper, you wouldn’t be so petty, would you?”
Rose wanted to refuse, but she was afraid that if Jerry returned to the Miller Family, he would become the same as before, so she said righteously, “You can move in, but you can’t rush in while I’m taking a shower.”
Jerry blushed slightly: “That was a special case before, and I was taking care of you. If a situation like last time happened, wouldn’t I be able to save you in time?”
Rose rolled her eyes at him.
The two spent the night peacefully, and Jerry stayed obediently in her room. The next day, he arrived at the company.
There was a large crowd of teenage girls at the entrance of the building. As soon as they saw Jerry’s car, they screamed loudly.
“That bastard is here!”
Then, screaming, she rushed towards Jerry’s car.
