Chapter 28: Maya’s Father got Hospitalized
Dino was startled: “What are you going to do?”
Monica chuckled: “You forgot to wear your shorts, here you go.”
That day, Dino got up in a daze, couldn’t find his shorts, so he didn’t wear them. Unexpectedly, Monica brought them to him.
Dino dared not go, saying, “I don’t want it.”
Monica chuckled again and said, “Alright then, I’ll hand it over to the police. There’s some filth you sprayed on it; the police will definitely be very interested.”
“No!” Dino was shocked, angry, aggrieved, and scared.
He couldn’t help but shout, “You are the mayor. You can’t bully a commoner like me!”
“You’re not small, you’re quite big.”Monica laughed heartily, then suddenly her voice turned cold.
“I’ll give you ten minutes. If you’re less than ten minutes, I’ll call the police and say that you insulted me under the guise of helping me treat my dog. You can just wait to die.”
Dino finally went. He dared not go. He didn’t even dare to call Black Panther, for fear that they would see him and bully him.
When they arrived at the foot of the Maple Leaf Bridge, they saw a car. Monica peeked out of the car window, glanced at him, and said, “Get in.”
Dino had no choice but to get in the car, but he gchosethe back seat. Monica glanced at him in the rearview mirror, chuckled, and said with a hint of smugness in her voice.
She started the car and drove along the Maple Leaf River, heading towards the mountains, all the way to the Maple Leaf Reservoir.
When she reached the dam, Monica stopped the car, turned to look at Dino, and chuckled: “Judging from your expression, you’ll definitely cry when you get back tonight, won’t you?”
Dino bit his lip and looked at her without saying a word.
His appearance made Monica laugh. She turned on something and suddenly the back of the chair that Dino was leaning against fell backward.
Caught off guard, Dino was startled and hurriedly sat up straight, at which point the chair in front of him also fell over.
“Lift your foot, you clumsy thing.”Monica nudged his foot, and Dino dared not disobey. The two rows of chairs were then laid out to form a bed.Monica crawled over, and Dino quickly hid behind her.
Monica giggled and reached out to lift his chin: “Little darling, are you that afraid of me?”
That night, White Tiger had actually discussed it with Dino. Monica had become somewhat abnormal due to long-term mental stress. The best way to deal with such aanabnormal person is to be even more abnormal than she is. She want to play with you? You might as well play with her instead, or even abuse her, and then she won’t dare to mess with you.
On the contrary, the more afraid you are and the more wronged you feel, the more excited she becomes and the more she wants to bully you.
Dino felt that White Tiger was right to distinguish right from wrong. Still, when he actually faced Monica, thinking of her status as mayor and seeing her cold, electric eyes, he suddenly felt weak and couldn’t muster any courage.
“No.” Seeing Monica reach out to unbutton his shirt, Dino grabbed her hand and cried out.
He only dared to refuse, not to resist.
Monica looked at him with a teasing smile in her eyes: “What, did I hurt you last time? Don’t be afraid, I’ll be gentle this time.”
Seeing that Dino still refused to let go, her face darkened, and her eyes flashed coldly: “Let go, or you can call the police and accuse me of raping you, or I can call the police and say that you raped me and coerced me. You choose one.”
Dino gave in again...
On the way back, when they got out of the car under the bridge, Dino tried to return the phone toMonica, butMonica glared at him and said, “Take it.”
He was given another brown paper envelope containing a stack of money.
“I don’t want it,” Dino tried to refuse.
“Then you can hand it over to the police.”Monica chuckled, started the car, and drove off.
Dino stayed under the bridge for half a day, then came back with the money, counted it, and found it was another thousand Dollor.
“This woman is really rich.” Dino shook his head inwardly, but considering that she was the mayor, he didn’t find it strange.
He didn’t dare tell Maya. The next day, he went to the city and returned to give the money to Maya. When Old Lady Martha saw the money, she smiled and said, “City people are so generous. That’s why I say, even if I were to become a dog, I would still want to go to the city.”
