Chapter 26 Drink and Game
However, he still didn’t dare to look atMonica and said, “My grandfather gave this name. It means ‘Dino,’ which means Brave.”
“Oh.”Monica responded.
“So, should I call you Dino?”
“Yes.” Dino nodded.
“Dino, Dino,”Monica murmured twice, her tone somewhat strange. Dino didn’t dare look at her, nor did he dare respond.
Monica asked, “Are you married yet?”
“No.” Dino blushed again.
“Don’t people in the countryside get married earlier?”
“I didn’t,” Dino could only shake his head.
“Don’t be nervous.”Monica smiled again.
“You drink, right? There’s red wine over there. Pour yourself a glass.”
“I don’t drink,” Dino shook his head.
“Have a drink, that wine is good.”
“I really won’t drink.” Dino shook his head. He could actually drink a little; a bottle of beer was no problem, and he’d heard that red wine didn’t make him drunk, but how could he dare to drink withMonica in this room? She was the mayor, after all.
“Just drink it when I tell you to.”Monica got angry, and her voice turned cold.
Dino was startled. He looked up at her and saw her cold expression. He dared not refuse again and quickly got up to pour a glass of red wine.
He sat down, and Monica offered him a drink, which he dared not refuse. Monica then asked about his family and learned that his father had died young and his mother had remarried and disappeared. She sighed with regret.
After chatting for a while, they finished their glass of wine.Monica asked Dino to pour her another glass. Her own glass was also empty, so she asked Dino to pour her one as well. Her pajamas were a bit loose, and as Dino poured her the wine from the side, he could catch a glimpse of her snowy mound inside her collar, which made his eyes dazzle.
After drinking another glass of wine, Dino felt slightly dizzy. He became a little bolder and said, “Mayor DC, where is the dog? Let me take a look.”
“Let’s have another drink, no rush.” Monica shook her head. She seemed a little drunk, and her eyes were slightly squinting.
“I can’t drink anymore.” Dino shook his head.
“If I drink any more, I’ll really get drunk.”
“Really?”Monica chuckled, stood up, went into the inner room, and after a while said, “Come in.”
“The dog was in the inner room.”
Dino put down his cup, wondering if he should go outside to get the box, butMonica said, “Don’t take the box, come in first.”
Dino responded and went inside. It was a large bedroom with green floor-to-ceiling curtains, a double bed in the middle, and a sword hanging on the wall.
The room was simply and elegantly furnished, with a faint fragrance, though it felt slightly chilly, much likeMonica herself, especially with the sword, which resembled her eyes.
But the dog wasn’t inside, nor was Sister Merry. Dino didn’t even see Monica. When he turned around in a hurry, he found Monica standing behind the door. she then closed the door behind him.
“Mayor DC.” Dino noticed thatMonica’s eyes seemed a little strange, and he panicked.
The dog wasn’t in the house, and she had closed the door. What was she going to do?
“Go to bed and lie on your back.” Monica pointed to the bed.
“Ah.” Dino was baffled. This must be Monica’s bed, the bed of a mayor, the bed of a beautiful mayor. What does it mean to ask him to lie down there?
“I told you to go lie down on the bed, didn’t you hear me?”Monica’s eyes turned cold.
Dino was startled. Although he couldn’t figure it out, Monica’s gaze was too cold, so he didn’t dare to object. He could only climb onto the bed and lie down hesitantly.
“Sleep in the middle with your arms outstretched.”
As Monica approached, Dino had no choice but to obey her, feeling a strange sense of panic. He really didn’t know whatMonica would do to him. Suddenly, everything went black asMonica covered his eyes with a pillowcase.
Seeing her was fine, but not being able to see her made Dino panic. He hurriedly called out, “Mayor DC!”
“Don’t move your hands.”Monica snapped, “What are you afraid of? I’m just asking you to play a game with me.”
