Chapter 14: Fall of Misfortune

Dino certainly didn’t dare to say that someone who could understand dog language and even get dogs to help him was a monster, almost like something out of a ghost story. How could he dare to say that? He just held Maya’s hand tightly, and Maya let him hold it until she heard Old Lady Martha’s voice, at which point Maya went back to her room to sleep.
