Chapter 10: Tony
Upon hearing this, Dino was furious. He left the box at someone’s place and ran towards the town, with Black Panther running ahead of him.
“It’s him.”
Dino was unfamiliar with Tony’s butcher stall, which was located at the entrance to town, as he didn’t typically purchase meat or vegetables there. However, Black Panther recognized the business immediately and called out upon seeing it.
Tony was a big man with a large, burly frame, though he wasn’t particularly tall. The heat meant his shirt was open, showing a patch of black chest hair. While Dino was slightly taller, he was roughly the same size as Tony. However, none of this was on Dino’s mind. Tony was engrossed in a game of mahjong and hadn’t noticed Dino’s approach. Dino rushed forward, seized a handful of Tony’s hair, and yanked his head back sharply.
Tony cried out and fell flat on his back.
“Which Bastard?”
Tony cried out in pain as he was thrown to the ground, rubbing his head with an angry expression. He then rolled over and got up.
Dino was an inexperienced fighter. Having lost his father early and with no one else to depend on, he was reluctant to engage in conflict and held back from throwing a punch. Instead, when he saw Tony rising, Dino quickly rushed forward, grasped Tony, and pushed him away.
This isn’t how adults fight; it’s how teenagers used to fight with each other by grabbing each other and throwing each other.
This kind of fighting usually involves throwing someone to the ground and pinning them there. Do they submit? If they submit, you let go; if not, you keep them pinned down. After a fight, all you’ll see is a layer of mud, but no blood. That’s how we used to fight when we were kids.
With a sudden, unexpected surge of superhuman strength, Dino swung the massive Tony. The throw carried Tony across the mahjong table, which overturned with a clatter as his large body landed on the ground with a loud thud.
“Ouch, ouch.”
Tony took a severe fall and struggled to get back up. The man was still enraged. After yelling for a moment, he finally supported himself with his hands and managed to stand up, though he still couldn’t make out who had struck him. With bloodshot eyes, he glared at Dino and spat out, “Who the hell are you? Did I stab your mother?”
Dino and Tony were strangers. Tony, a pig butcher, had only heard of Dino, knowing him to be Kelo’s apprentice, but they had no personal connection. Tony didn’t deal with pig injections, which seemed to be part of Dino’s world.
“You flirted with my Madam,” Tony was accused.
At this, Dino’s anger flared again, and he rushed over to hug Tony once more.
This time, Tony reacted, crossing his arms to grab Dino in return. As they embraced, it was clear Dino was physically outmatched. Tony was significantly larger—a “telephone pole hugging a cement block” — illustrating the size difference.
Suddenly, with a cry of “hey,” Dino—possessing an unknown, superhuman strength—twisted at the waist, lifting Tony and flinging him four or five meters away.
Tony weighed approximately 100 kg. A load of wet rice from the field weighs about 80-90 kg. Anyone who could carry 100Kg of wet rice was a real man. But Dino was able to throw Tony, who weighed about 100Kg, four or five meters away in one go. The people watching around were dumbfounded and gasped.
Tony really fell hard this time. It seemed like he had lost all the breath he had in his chest. He lay there, eyes rolled back, mouth agape, chest heaving violently, but he could no longer get up.
After smashing him half to death, Dino slowly breathed a sigh of relief and pointed at Butcher, saying, “If you dare to harass Madam again, I’ll make sure you die.”
Tony remained silent, giving no indication he heard the chatter as Dino led the black Panther away. Their departure sparked a flurry of gossip among the remaining people.
“ ... No, it’s that apprentice the old man brought—his name is something like Dino.”
“Wow, that’s a lot of force!”
“Wasn’t that old man dead? Why is he still around?”
