Chapter 5: Chloe and Her Mum

Chloe woke up early the next morning and was downstairs in her dressing gown just before her mum came down to join her.
“Morning Mum!”
“Morning Chloe. You’re up early for a Sunday and much chirpier than usual!”
“I had a super day yesterday and I wanted to get a good start on my homework.”
They got breakfast ready together and as they finished eating, Chloe said, rather tentatively “Can I talk to you about contraceptives, Mum?”
“Of course you can Chloe”
“Well, I met this boy who I really like. He’s not pushy like the boys at school. I really like him and just enjoy being with him. I think he’s super sexy, but it’s not just about that.”
“But you’d like to make love to him?”
“Not yet, but yes, when I’m ready. I have to be sure ‘cos it will be my first time and I want it to be special, so I don’t want to use condoms. I know you have to wait a month or two from when you start taking the pill for it to be effective, so I thought I’d better talk to you now.”
“Oh-kay. So that means you both need STI tests first and you have to be able to trust each other to not have sex with anyone else, at least not without using condoms.”
“Good idea about getting him to have a test, but I’m a virgin!”
“And you’ve never given a boy a blow job?”
Chloe blushed for the first time during the conversation.
Jan laughed. “So you need a test too. Now to get back to contraception, the pill is the obvious choice as you know. It also lets you postpone your periods when you go on holiday. The downside is that in addition to having to wait for it to be effective, you can’t afford to forget a single day. But there are other methods, so why don’t I make an appointment with Doctor Williamson so we can talk about what’s best for you. She’s a friend of mine, as you know, so she’ll probably fit you in after her normal surgery.”
“Thanks, Mum, you’re so cool. I have to admit I was a bit worried, talking to my mum about me having sex at 15.”
“I’m pleased you felt you could talk to me about it so I can try to help. Maybe I can even pass on a few tips!”
Chloe just laughed. “Now I’m all excited thinking about sex and I have to try and concentrate on my homework!”
“When you feel the time is right, I’d love to meet this boy who has restored your faith in the male of the species. Just remember, they are all wired for sex, it’s just that some of them go about getting your knickers off more subtly than others!”
“Muuum! Now I need to go on a run before I’ll even be able to think about homework!”
After the run and a quick shower, Chloe started her homework enthusiastically, not that the work was that interesting, but she wanted to get ahead as much as possible in order to make time to see Matt.
At school on Monday, the teasing started again at lunchtime.
“Did you enjoy the pizza my brother delivered to your lover’s apartment?” Lisa asked. “I guess you had to finish the champagne first.”
“You’re all horrible! He’s not my lover!” Chloe exclaimed, blushing.
“Yet!” Tina replied.
The bell for end of lunch sounded and so Chloe was spared further interrogation, for now.
After school, Chloe was at her locker, next to Lisa.
“Lisa, do you want to go to the gym?”
“I would, but my membership ran out and my dad won’t pay to renew it.”
“You can come as my guest.” Chloe offered.
“OK I’d love to, and you can tell me all about Saturday night.”
“All right, but you’re going to be disappointed ‘cos we didn’t do anything naughty.”
They both went home to change into shorts and t-shirts with track suits on top and then walked to the gym. They had a good workout with lots of gossiping and giggles before returning to their respective homes for dinner and homework.
When she had finished her maths homework, Chloe started dreaming about Matt. Then she had an idea and texted him.
<Hi handsome! Fancy a swim early in the morning? XXX>
She got an immediate reply <Hi beautiful! Would love to, but it will have to be very early. Would 6 be possible? XXX>
She was not thinking that early, but replied <The pool I swim in will be open, so will be at your’s at 6, maybe a bit sleepy zzzzz>
He laughed as he usually got up at 6 in the week and got to work around 7:30, but as long as he arrived around 9 there would be no problem. <Look forward to seeing you then XXX>
The next morning, he was waiting for her at the entrance to his building when she arrived, exactly on time, in her tracksuit and with her sports bag over her shoulder. She only looked half awake.
He kissed her. “Morning, sleeping beauty!”
She returned the kiss, perhaps a little less enthusiastically than usual. “Morning Uncle Matt.”
He gave her a quick slap on her bottom, causing a laughing squeal, and led her down to his car. Within 15 minutes, they were both in the pool swimming lengths in adjacent lanes.
After 20 lengths of different strokes, she stopped at the shallow end and waited for him to join her.
“Is that all you can manage?” he teased, admiring her pretty shoulders and noticing that, although her racing swimsuit was flattening her breasts, her nipples were trying to poke through the material.
“Just thought you might like a race.” she replied, enjoying the sight of the water running down his hairy chest.
“Two lengths freestyle?”
She answered by setting off and he pushed off right after her. He was surprised that he had to really work to keep up, but managed to just beat her.
“Not bad for an old man! Now 2 lengths fly” and she again pushed off immediately. After the last start, he was ready and pushed off at almost the same time. After 2 lengths, she touched well ahead of him and stood grinning as he joined her.
They then swam 2 lengths backstroke which he won and 2 lengths breaststroke which she won easily. He then told her he needed to make a move and she agreed. He let her climb up the steps first, and admired her sexy little bottom, inches in front of his face. She knew he would be ogling, so giggling, she gave him a little wiggle. He laughed and when she turned to face him, the V of her wet, high-cut swimsuit was holding her pronounced vulva with the hint of a crease between her labia. That evening, Janis and Chloe walked the short distance to see Doctor Susan Williamson. Chloe was a bit apprehensive, but pleased her mum had offered to go with her.
“Hello Jan, Chloe. Come in and close the door. Your mum said you wanted to talk about contraception and STI tests. Have you already had sex?”
“No, except er ... orally.”
Doctor Williamson smiled. “I’m sure you’re fine, but I’d like to get you tested, just to be sure. Now about contraception. You really should use condoms, they are the best way of avoiding STIs, but they have a high failure rate, so you may want to think about another type of contraception as well.”
“I’m only planning to have sex with my boyfriend, and I don’t want to use a condom. I think it would spoil it, especially the first time.”
