Chapter 12: Chloe’s Sixteenth Birthday

Afterwards, they both had a fun shower together, rubbing their soapy hands all over each other’s bodies. Once they were dressed again in their school uniform, Chloe took out the guest room bedding she had earlier put in the washer/dryer. Tina folded it while Chloe put the master bedroom sheets in to wash. They then cleared the kitchen and tidied up the rest of the apartment before hoovering throughout. Once they were finished, they sat down on the sofa with a glass of water each. Chloe suddenly looked up.
“You remember I told you about the girl from Cuffley I met at the theatre?”
“Kat, wasn’t it?”
“Yes, well she’s in a school play on the 24th, it’s a modern one based loosely on Romeo and Juliet. It would be nice if you went too, then spent the night with Matt. He will want to go and I’ll ask Lisa too.”
“Thanks. I’d like to go to the play and hopefully meet your new friend. She sounds quite a character.”
“Do you think your parents will let you spend the night again?” Chloe asked.
“They’re so busy socially, I think it’s easier for them not to worry about me when they think I’m at yours, or maybe they don’t really care.”
“Maybe you don’t give them any trouble, so they’re happy to let you lead your own life without interfering.”
“Maybe” Tina replied, but not sounding convinced.
It was mid-afternoon before they both left the apartment to walk home. As they were parting to go to their separate houses, they kissed and Chloe said “I’m so excited about my birthday tomorrow!”
“Me too!” Tina added.
Once she got home, Chloe drank a glass of juice, and then took the vacuum cleaner and dusters upstairs to start her chores as she did not want to have to do them on her birthday. She had just finished when her mum arrived home from work looking tired.
“Hello, Mum! Can I get you a drink?”
“It’s Friday, so a nice cold glass of Chardonnay would be lovely.”
Chloe poured her a glass and herself a juice, then took them into the lounge. Jan noticed Chloe’s fruit juice. “Not joining me in a glass of wine then?”
“I had one or two yesterday with Tina, Lisa and Matt, to celebrate the end of exams and I expect I’ll have a couple tomorrow on my birthday.”
“Just a couple?” Jan asked, smiling.
“I don’t want to get sloshed, ‘cos Matt and I have something special planned for our after-party” Chloe replied, grinning.
“Are you really still a virgin after sleeping with Matt for weeks?”
“Only just!” Chloe laughed.
Chloe was feeling tired and she was pleased that she didn’t have to work in the restaurant again until September. They were not very busy in the summer and actually closed for a month so that all the staff could have a holiday.
They prepared dinner and ate together, chatting about the party and their holiday in Cornwall in two weeks time. Soon after they had cleared up, Chloe went upstairs to bed, explaining to Jan that she was tired and planned to have a lie-in until 10 in the morning.
At exactly 10 o’clock, Chloe was woken by two kisses, one on her forehead followed by one on her lips.
“Morning sleepyhead! Happy Birthday!” Jan exclaimed.
“Morning sexy sixteen! Happy birthday!” Matt echoed.
Chloe rubbed her eyes and beamed. “I love you two, thankyou!”
“Come down when you’re ready, then we can do presents before brunch.” Jan said, going out of the bedroom.
Chloe kissed Matt again. “Let me get dressed and do my hair.”
“Come down just as you are, you look so sexy!” Matt replied.
Chloe laughed. “OK, but I need to pee first.” When she saw his smirk, she added “and no, you can’t watch!”
She was soon down in the lounge, wearing just her night-time t-shirt and panties. She had forgotten Rob would be there too, but when his eyes went wide, she just blew him a kiss, giggling. He eventually managed “Happy Birthday, Chloe!”
Jan passed Chloe the birthday cards and she was surprised at how many there were. Jan had arranged the pile of cards so that those from her, Matt, Tina and Lisa were on the top. Chloe opened the first one which was from Jan and Rob. It was a typical mum to daughter 16th birthday card. After kissing both of them, she opened the one from Matt which had a picture of a sexy young girl, dancing with a champagne flute in one hand and a romantic note inside. The next ones from Tina and Lisa, both hinted that she was now old enough to have sex. There were a couple of cards from relatives followed by three from other girls and four from boys in her class all pointing out that she was now legally fuckable and offering their services. Chloe actually blushed, but everyone else was laughing, although Rob looked a bit shocked.
Chloe then opened her first present which was in a shallow oblong box. She guessed this would be the iPad her mum had promised her, but she was surprised and excited to unwrap a top-of-the-range iPad Pro with a detachable keyboard. She then read the gift tag and saw that it was from both her mum and Rob.
“Thankyou! Thankyou both, but I was expecting a basic model. This must have cost a fortune!” Chloe exclaimed, before rushing over to kiss them both.
“Rob insisted that was the one you needed.” Jan replied.
“It’s like the one I use for work” Rob explained. “It’s much better than taking my laptop on site and when I’m home, the external keyboard makes typing much faster.”
“It’s brilliant! Thank you so much!” Chloe replied, realising that most of the money must have come from Rob.
Next, Chloe opened the huge strange-shaped present which the gift-tag announced was from Matt. Removing the gift wrap revealed a large waterproof grip with the insignia ‘Helly Hansen’. The first item she pulled out was a strange blue lightweight waterproof jacket with white trim, followed by matching trousers. There was also a white t-shirt, a pair of long shorts, a pair of odd-looking white and blue trainers and a shortie wetsuit. After looking at them quizzically for a few moments, she realised what they were for.
“You’re taking me sailing, Matt!” she exclaimed and rushed over to smother him with kisses.
He laughed at her adolescent enthusiasm. “While we are on holiday in Cornwall, we are booked to do a sailing course each morning. Unfortunately, they don’t have a free instructor those weeks, so you’ll have to put up with me and then a qualified instructor/examiner will test you each Saturday.”
“I’m so excited! And I’m glad you’ll be my instructor, so long as you promise not to shout at me when I fu ... mess up.”
She wanted to immediately try on the sailing clothes, so she whipped off her t-shirt, leaving her in just her panties. As she reached for the new wicking t-shirt, Rob gasped and covered his face with his hands.
She laughed “If you’re going to be my new daddy, you’d better get used to it. Anyway, Mum’s tits are much bigger than mine!”
“Chloe!” Jan reprimanded, but she was laughing.
After Chloe had modelled all of the clothes for them, they all went into the dining room for brunch, followed by birthday cake. Afterwards, Matt got shooed out of the house after a passionate kiss, so that Chloe could get ready for the party.
Tina and Lisa soon arrived as they were going to help each other get ready. They both gave her presents, Lisa’s was a large bottle of Miss Dior perfume and Tina’s was a 5-pack of the tiniest lace panties Chloe had ever seen, in different colours. The description on the packaging read ‘School Knickers!’
