“They mean the sex movie business,” Sandi was grinning. “If we’re brave enough.”
“Yeah, they can get into that,” Dan agreed. “Allie’s a natural, and Ellie too. Being careful though.”
“We want to be all in that same business,” said Paula. With a grin too.
“It’s way more interesting,” added Jeff.
“Absolutely no way!” Dan laughed.
“It just works between us,” Allie was tuning in to Paula’s wild idea.
“Adult education,” Ellie was understanding too. “Movies that are fun, drama, but how to do sex. How it’s fun. Why maledom is crap, strangling is for assholes, heels are stupid. Show the good things, how it can be, everything. Bust taboos. Show, like, how it goes in and where exactly. Getting each other ready. About touching, caressing, smelling, smiling, eyes, how to tell what the other person is feeling...”
“They’re saying sell the fastenings business Honey,” Sandi put her arm round Dan from the other side. “It’ll need investment to get a film company going. A studio, like in Lewisburg maybe. Equipment. Promotion.”
“But we’ve spent twenty years building the business up! It’s part of our history.”
“It’s building it up that was exciting,” Sandi hugged him. She reached for Jeff, bringing him in to complete the circle.
“And now it’s built,” Paula pointed out, putting her arm round her brother’s hard ass, “and how interesting is it, really? Fastenings...”
“At least it’s legal!”
“You cash in the investment,” Jeff argued, “that’d be valid wouldn’t it? Validate the twenty years by selling the asset you made. Didn’t you say Tesla asked about buying?”
“Tesla don’t always pay their suppliers, if you’re too small to sue. That’s why they wanted to buy us as we’re not selling on credit. I’m not dealing with that guy.”
“You could ask around couldn’t you?” Paula challenged. “If Tesla was interested one of the others will be. You’re great at doing deals, persuading people, and that’s what the film company needs anyway.”
