Evelyn’s disgusting actions made Mila leave in shame. Even if Liam had Evelyn chopped into a thousand pieces, it probably wouldn’t satisfy him!
So, to please Liam, those people said increasingly nasty things, almost as if they were about to stab Evelyn with a knife.
Hearing those words, Ms. Clarke? People pursuing him?
Feeling that something was wrong, he frowned and looked towards the door. The next moment, he abruptly narrowed his eyes!
Evelyn was kneeling on the ground, her head bowed low, with dried-up wine stains still on her face. Amid everyone’s jeering, she kept kneeling, her back bent due to weakness, looking worse than a pig!
Liam’s hand suddenly clutched the doorframe tightly, leaving a bloody mark on his hand!
Evelyn! What kind of madness has taken hold of you!
Where is your pride? Your calmness? Even when chasing after someone else, you used to wear confidence on your face, but now, in others’ eyes, you’re nothing but a whore!

But the next moment, Liam came to his senses because of the sharp pain in his hand. Maybe Evelyn was once again pretending to be pitiful to deceive him, just as she did before. Besides, even if it were true, she deserved it! She brought it on herself!
Liam’s emotion-filled eyes briefly became calm again. He took a few steps and sat on the edge of the sofa, coldly staring at Evelyn.
He wanted to see how long she could endure! He didn’t believe that Evelyn, who used to be so proud and unyielding, would willingly degrade herself like this!
Seeing Liam’s indifferent attitude, everyone else found it boring, but soon they were attracted by Xavier’s movements.
He was recording a video, sneering as he walked over to the coffee table in front of Evelyn and sat down. He nudged Evelyn’s face with his foot and asked mockingly, “Hey, why aren’t you groveling and kissing my shoes yet?”
Evelyn didn’t dare to look up. She was used to those people’s mockery and laughter, but she couldn’t stand Liam’s icy gaze.
