With this book, I wanted to explore a different style of fantasy than what I’ve written before. Throughout the creative process, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on the narrative’s internal logic. My primary goal has always been to ensure the story stays true to its own world-building and historical backdrop.

I know that some plot points might seem “unreasonable” at first glance. However, much of that feeling comes from the natural clash between modern perspectives and the values of a different era. Each age has its own “tide of thought.” What seems logical to us today might be completely alien to characters living within the constraints and culture of this fictional world.
