With inspiration still active from my fruit, I checked to see what new Active skills were available:

My fruit induced inspiration wasn’t helping me choose, so I asked Scribe which would give me points. Nothing blinked. I asked what it suggested, and Scribe made tree already become a boat blink. I asked if it was the most useful of what was available, and it blinked twice for yes.

I considered that previously the naturally you naturally free skill was an emergency escape skill, but not considered by Scribe as useful anymore. While that seemed to bode well for the future, I almost picked it anyway, hoping it would be a cheaper version of an emergency teleport, instead I went with Scribe’s suggestion:

- restore any object to its previous state, up to 24 hours previous, cost variable 500 points per hour reversed times weight of object in jīn, can use once per week

That didn’t seem very useful, but I’d come back to it later when I was ready to do upgrades. I went on to the next pick:

There were several new options this time. I was hoping that would be the case, as so many of the skills I’d seen previously were one level skills, and I really wanted to do some upgrades in power. Despite my wants, Scribe was highly recommending maintain wonderful. My questions couldn’t seem to identify the reason until I asked about building, and Scribe blinked the skill rapidly, so I picked it, even though it had only one level:

- you can make art, spend multiples of 50 points per second, each increase doubles your artistic ability, applies to all aspects physical art and all mediums, if points reach zero you will return to your normal fumble fingered finger painting

I smiled, another super power skill, with snark. This one might actually be really useful in coming up with a design I was happy with for Big Mama.

I had one more pick to make:

Scribe blinked two at me, which as always was frustrating, when I could just pick one. Perfectly complete and on a hot pan. He’d never suggested on hot pan before, and it had shown up multiple times. Perfect complete was something new, as were review past, and doors can be. I was tempted by on hot pan, but maybe it was the fruit, perfectly complete seemed like the better choice. Oddly enough, I had the feeling that I’d really love doors can be used. I almost picked it, thinking it might be a teleport method using doors, before going with Scribes choice:
