Awacs - an American With a Chinese System

Introduction
Thanks for reading my book. This novel was born from reading just way too many google translated chinese system novels. I don’t know chinese, I don’t speak chinese. The chinese that’s translated in this book is done poorly, often on purpose for comedic effect, and should not be used as a method of learning chinese.
The inspiraation for the skills used in this book come from research into chinese idioms that were recurring in various chinese novels. An idiom is a phrase that has a specific meaning, but isn’t necessarily clear from context, but understood from knowing the backstory. For example an english idiom: better one in the hand than two in the bush. Most of the chinese idioms used in the book are a specific kind, formed using just four characters. The story behind them, and the actual meaning can be pretty interesting. I liked using them in perverse ways, so if you like that sort of thing, feel free to look them up as you come across them.
This is also my first system book with a litRPG numbers go up system. I do not plan to ever do another, as I’m sure that I screwed up the numbers. More than once, considering the number of errors I caught and fixed while editing, there are probably still some in there. Seriously, this was a hard book to write, because I kept having to check my notes (over a hundred pages of notes) instead of letting the writing flow freely. I chose not to use blue boxes in the text, because I wasn’t sure if they would look right in publication. System text is therefor in BOLD. Written communication, such as text messages are italicized.
