Chapter 1
I’m so busy that I’ve long since parted ways with many of those close to me. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I don’t like people. I mean I’m really close to my family and I have hundreds of friends. It’s just that my friends are at arm’s length these days. At the other end of an internet connection.
I have a cat who is my best friend and always there for me in a kittycat way. Some people have said I’m like I am because I’ve been burned by my ex. Ex husband, that is. We got married too young, he was too immature and he needed a mommy not a wife. He still does.
He thought I was a kindred spirit because I love doing crafts and collecting Pokémon cards. In his mind, my hobbies equated to me playing games and that’s what his life revolves around. Games and beauty.
I know I’m pretty and to be honest, he really was still a great ego boost for me. I just missed at first how shallow he is. He wanted me for what he saw and what he thought he understood about me.
When he began to understand I’m an independent woman with ambition to succeed, the drive to do whatever it takes and an open mind when it comes to those I interact with, I think it scared him.
He wanted a “good little wife” who’d spend her life doting on him and that’s simply not me. I wanted a partner, not a child. So we’re no longer together. I own my own business, well two of them, and I don’t have time to be a mother to anyone other than my cat.
After the divorce, part of me was the happiest I’ve ever been, but another, smaller part of me missed interacting with others in a fun, yet mature way. I discovered I could play with my Pokémon cards all day if I wanted, although I knew I was missing out on something. Even joining Pokémon groups didn’t scratch the itch in the back of my mind.
Then I discovered a much more suitable pastime that fitted in nicely with my independent lifestyle. It started with TikTok and I became an online content creator. That platform led to Clapper and interaction with men and women who were searching for more mature entertainment in a sexy, titillating way.
All I had to do was set up a camera and begin broadcasting live to strangers around the world.
It’s quite amazing how quickly a person can get to know people they’ve never met in person. I still receive the ego boost I got from my ex but now, there’s an income stream attached to it.
