Chapter 20

2 a.m. Wednesday, Tag was in the kitchen drinking his brew, heading to the gym. It was a full workout day, so I started stretching, entered his martial arts workout, hit the weight lifting with new energy, and closed my routine stretching and tai chi. Then he entered the tunnel, stopped at the kill room door, and sensed the room. Tag ran inside, slamming the door behind him, and beat, kicked, walked walls, doing flips and tumbles with knives flying. He was walking out, putting his knives away, while walking up the tunnel, thinking, what was that!

He went upstairs, took a long, hot shower, sat in the lotus position, and centered. He woke at 6 a.m. and fixed breakfast. Then Tag read the script and loved it. It was about a new CIA agent just graduating from the farm, sent on a mission that should have been assigned a crew. When it turned to shit, they cut off communications and left out in the cold. Abandoned and pissed he plans his revenge. This was for a great part! Tag dressed, called CAA, and told Mr. Lovett’s assistant he wanted the spy role.

After arming the house, he entered the tunnel and exited in the new garage. He hopped in the F250 with a backpack full of cash, well, not full, but $50k, and drove to the auction. When he pulled up, Tag thought it was canceled. The parking lot had only three cars in it, so he parked and walked inside, saw many machines, and was interrupted when the guy at the table requested that I register and pay the fee. Tag paid and received a list of items for bid and a bid card.

He walked through a lot of heavy industrial machines and into a backroom. Inside were the auction items. The front was a working company shut down for upgrades. He looked and saw several items of interest. Most of this was for heavy commercial manufacturing and was useless to him. What caught his eye was the vehicles they were auctioning. They had a Mercedes van and over a dozen large wooden crates without markings that interested him. Tag saw only four bidders, and he was included. The bidding started, and bidders started leaving as they won items.

He was the one left when the van and the last two crates came up. He won everything with a minimum bid of $1000 each. Now he needed to get all this to his warehouse. He hooked up the van with a tow bar, which he forgot to unload on Monday, and told them he would return for the crates. Tag towed the Mercedes van to the warehouse and pulled it inside. He disconnected the van battery and hooked up the battery to the big truck.

Tag pulled out, locked up, and returned to the auction. He used their forklift, loaded the boxes, and returned to his warehouse. He backed out the F250 and pulled in the big truck, using his forklift and TK to unload the crates. He opened one, and it was a Yamaha 250 dirt bike. Not having time to deal with this, he put the battery tender back on the big truck and locked up the warehouse. Tag towed the Mercedes van to his stash house, parked it in the garage, locked it up, and used evasive maneuvers to arrive at the new garage. He backed the F250 in and closed everything down.

Tag locked the garage, headed up the tunnel to the house, and had lunch. He left the stuff in the warehouse until he finished the movie. He’ll check out the van tomorrow. Tag checked his email, and the contractor needed a deposit to cover the shutters and doors. He told him to meet at the house at 9 a.m. tomorrow. One from CAA told him his movie travel packet was ready for pickup. He decided to do it now, so he was free to play with his new idea for the next two days. Tag, locked and armed the house, ran down the tunnel, and hopped in the Cuda.

He drove to CAA, ran in and out with a packet, headed to the tailors, picked up my new tux and suits, played hide and seek, ring around the rosy, and when it was clear, headed home. Tag parked the Cuda in the garage, grabbed his clothes, and headed up the tunnel home. He put the clothes away and browsed the packet. It included a credit card for gas and directions to our staging site. He had his own trailer that looked really nice and must have been custom-built for the studios. They had laundry service, just clothes, and he needed a travel supply from GNC.

That was enough bullshit and Tag started on his new game. He was in a zone with his fingers flying across the keys and had a part of it done before he shut it down for dinner. Tag heated a premade meal and was eating when CAA called. Mr. Lovett said the script was turned into a mini-series, and we passed. The spy film wants to meet with you on Saturday at 10 a.m. We said good night. He finished dinner, cleaned up, and drank his brew on the way to the gym. Tag powered through his night routine, showered, and centered. He awoke

Early Thursday morning Tag was in the kitchen drinking his brew and headed to the gym. He went through his off-day routine and headed to the shower. After the shower, he centered. Waking up at 7 a.m., Tag got dressed and ate breakfast. Then he hopped on the lowboy and cruised to the stash house. He opened the garage with the van in it and opened the back, and was shocked. It was a mobile truck repair vehicle with tool boxes lining the walls and parts shelves on the other side. He decided to gut it and make it a mobile home, but keep the appearance of a regular van. A project for later, and he closed it up.

The contractor arrived and added interconnecting doors between the garages. Tag wrote him a check and told him to email him if he needed anything. Tag gave him the keys and sent him to stay on the job and watch the crew. He took off to Tractor Supply and picked up five more tenders with surge strips and extension cords. He took the scenic route and made misdirection turns several times before driving home. He ate an early lunch and worked on Dirty Dave. He finished it an hour before dinner and researched whether he could host his website without interruption. Tag found Iceland was the best to host his site, but he would run through Ukraine and fool those trying to shut it down.

Now he needs to build the site. He routed through six servers and accessed the dark web. Tag found a book on designing and making your website bulletproof. He ordered it with next-day delivery to a drop house. It was time for dinner, and he cooked a nice pasta with sausage and marinara sauce. Tag cleaned up and drank his brew on the way to the gym. He did his nightly routine and headed upstairs. Tag showered and centered. He wakes up

2 a.m. Friday Tag was in the kitchen drinking his brew on his way to the gym. Today is a full workout with Sensi’s routine and weight training. He finished and took a long, hot shower and centered. He awakens at 7 a.m. and heads to the kitchen for breakfast. After cleaning up, he goes upstairs and starts building the website from the memory of his tutoring from Sammy. She took time and showed him the basics. It took about two hours to get to where he had to wait for input. He will rent billboards around Hollywood as soon as he has enough interest. Tag needed some investigative reporters to give him information.

Tag decided to move the vehicles to his new house for the time being. It will be safer than with the construction crew. He rides his BMX to the stash house. Tag puts the BMX in the back of the van, takes a hide-and-seek route, and goes to the new garage. Tag parks the van in the new addition, disconnects the battery, and puts the minder on. He checked all vehicles; only the Cuda and the lowboy have batteries installed. Tag rolls the BMX through the tunnel and out of the kitchen, rides back to the stash house, puts the BMX in the bedroom, locks the bike to the bed frame, and locks up the house.

He pulls the Nova out, puts the BMX in the trunk, plays games, and finally gets home. Tag put the Nova beside the van, pulled the battery, and hooked up the minder. Locking everything up and walking up the tunnel to the house. He goes to the garage and checks that all batteries are pulled except the Mustang. He’ll check the warehouse vehicles on the way to meet and greet. Tag eats a late lunch, starts laundry, searches the internet about site building and design, and finds little. He checks his illegal duffle to see if he has everything.

Tag gets an idea and searches for a portable alarm system. He sees that Radio Shack has several. He hops on the lowboy and rides there. They have a toy dog, one that sounds like a big dog. He gets four and one that hooks to the doorknob when you are inside. If the door opens, a loud screeching sound goes off. No one would sleep through that. He got four and four throwaway mobile phones. Tag checked out, stopped by the mailbox store, picked up the mail, and drove to the new house in circles. No one is following him, so he goes home and packs his new toys. He put the dog sensor covering the back door of the new house, and put one on the garage door in the garage. He hooked the screeching alarm on the front door and went home through the tunnel.

He’s done everything he can do, so moving on to checking mail. Nothing important except Tag called the utilities, got on a yearly plan, and paid. Now time to relax until dinner. He decided to center. Tag wakes, cooks dinner, drinks his brew, heads down to the gym, completes his nightly routine, and heads for the shower. He comes out and centered. He awake

Early Saturday morning Tag was in the kitchen drinking his brew and headed to the gym. He does his off-day routine, shower, and center. Tag wakes at seven and goes to the kitchen for breakfast. After breakfast, he returns upstairs, gets dressed, grabs a backpack, and heads down the tunnel after setting the alarms. He hops on the lowboy and stops at the warehouse. Tag put a dog censer pointing at the door and checks, and all the batteries are on menders. He locks up and rides to Universal Studios.

Tag goes to the conference room number. We greet, and they ask some questions. He reads a part of the script, and they are impressed. They say a decision will be made by Monday. Tag goes to GNC and gets another 30-day supply of protein powder and vitamins for the movie set. Then he stops by Radio Shack again, getting three more dogs and one screeching alarm. He will go with four each. He plays games for 30 minutes and sees a car following him.

He does the alley trick again, and it works. Tag sat in his car and instructed him on what to do when, and he had another spy. This great. He needs some in DC and New York and would have the major hubs covered. Tag decides to eat a very early dinner and center. The extra time will recharge his batteries. He wakes

At 2 a.m. Sunday Tag was in the kitchen drinking his brew and headed to the gym. He powered through his workout, went upstairs, showered, and sat nude in lotus and center. He wakes, heads to the kitchen, cooks breakfast, and something says in his head to load the mustang and drive to the hideout. So, Tag sets the closet bomb, carries all his bags to the Mustang, and sets the alarm. He pulled out and disconnected the garage opener like he did at the new house, set the interior lock, locked the side door, drove the Mustang, made several turns, and drove to the hideout after filling the tank. Tag checked the vehicles, and they are on minders. He was directed to the alcove to get a drink of water and center. Tag was thinking of the lea lines, and he needed to see if Grampa’s house, the Reno ranch, and the hideout are on the same line. He wakes up, and it’s

4 a.m. Monday, Tag gets in the Mustang and drives to Ojai. He stops at a truck stop and picks up a trucker’s atlas, three cases of water, and a local newspaper. Tag arrives at the film location at 6 a.m. It looks like worker ants running around, and one assistant asked why he was so early. Tag said he wanted to get the lay of the land. Can you point out where the chase is planned? She hands me a map and points out where we are and the direction of the chase. Tag asked where to park his car, and she pointed. He parks and locks the car and runs to the trail.

Tag searched for several hours and found what he was looking for, a ley line. It is hidden from view, and only those who benefit from it will see it. He stripped and sat in the lotus position and centered. He wakes, and it’s 8:30 am. Tag starts back, walks right up behind the director, Rob Highman, and the girl who gave him the map is talking to Rob. She said she doesn’t know where he is. So, I ask if you are looking for me, and she jumps several feet and says Don’t do that and everyone is laughing, and she joins them. Tag asked where his trailer was, and he was shown.

He went to his car, carried his bags to his trailer, returned, got a second load, and locked his car. Tag put away his clothes and found a stash for his illegal things. First, he took out the audio/video detector and found two audio bugs, a camera in the alarm clock, and the receiver. Tag asked when everyone was meeting, and they said noon because of traffic. He hopped in his car and drove to the hardware store. He walked around, found what he was looking for, and saw something interesting: the Florissant paint. It’s invisible to the naked eye, but with the glasses it showed bright. Then Tag saw a large animal trap and got it too. He was checking out and saw a small radio and included it. The clerk asked if he had a pest problem, and Tag said a very large one. He says, if this doesn’t solve it, he moves his head toward the shotguns. Tag told him it could be possible, so he returned to the staging site, parked, and put away his purchases.

Tag exits his trailer and posts a sign, “DO NOT ENTER. THE OWNER.” The producer sees the sign and laughs. If someone is foolish enough to enter your trailer, he’s got to be a fool. We both laugh while walking to the meeting. We spent the rest of the day in a production meeting and heard a scream. Tag walks out and stops a guy from running away. Attached to his arm is the animal trap. Everyone watches as Tag interrogates him. He works for a Hollywood rag and was going into the trailers while we were busy.

Tag reads his mind, and he has a contact inside the crew, and he knows who. After getting first aid, he left like there was a wildfire. Someone said he could get in trouble, and Tag said not if he’s dead. There was a hush over the crowd, and he pointed to the sign on his door. Now, if some fool chooses to enter, they don’t deserve to live. Then the producer said anyone caught inside another trailer will be terminated, and the crowd dispersed.

The filming started with scenes in town. Town square, an auto dealership, a hairdresser shop, a bar, the courthouse, the police station, and a gym. They rented a house that was supposed to be mine. Everything was going like clockwork, and we returned to the staging area at the end of each day. The chase scene was fun, with him taking his pursuers through the mountains and playing hide and seek. A miniature in scale of the auto dealership blew up like clockwork. It was his ex-girlfriend’s new husband’s business. He and his ex-girlfriend had set him up. They died while sleeping when their house blew up due to a gas leak. Then the final scene is of me climbing up the mountain, yelling at the top of my lungs, and doing a swan dive, which capped the film, and the director yelled cut, and it’s a rap.

Tag gave the dog alarms to the females in the film, with whom he worked closest. We had a film wrap party, and he headed home. Seven weeks of shooting, and he needed a break. Tag had in his mind that the ranch was where he would get it. He made several evasive maneuvers and stopped to check for trackers before arriving. Tag parked in the garage and entered the house. He checked everything, and it was ok. Then he went down the tunnel and checked his new house, which was okay too. Tag walked back at peace through the tunnel, home, and went upstairs. He showered, sat in the lotus position, and centered. He woke

Early Monday morning Tag was in the kitchen drinking his brew and headed to the gym. He did his full Sensi workout and weight training, dressed in black, and went to the woods. When Tag came out, he felt great walking back home. He went upstairs, showered, and centered. It was 7 am when he awoke, and I headed downstairs to the kitchen and had a premade meal. Then Tag grabbed a trash bag, emptied the refrigerator, and put it in the outside trash. He made it inside, and the phone rang. It was CAA, Mr. Lovett, who asked how it went.
