Chapter 9

Early Monday morning, Raiden went to his basement dojo. He did his martial arts workout and then practiced Sealth Walk and Strikes. Then Raiden went to his workshop and checked his email. There wasn’t anything important, so he shut off the computer, went to his room, and cleaned up. Then he went to the kitchen for breakfast and was surprised to see Ria and Tia still there. Martha said since we were going to town, we’d drop Ria and Tia off at school.

When they dropped off Ria and Tia, Raiden said you kids have a good day at school. Ria and Tia flipped Raiden the bird, causing everyone to laugh. Then they went to the mall and passed Al’s Fine Used Cars. Raiden saw a van parked beside the office that said Sal’s Italian Catering, so he took a picture. He texted the photo to Dana with the message, FYI, this van was parked by the sales office this morning. Martha, Carmen, and Sofia were excited when they arrived at the mall.

Raiden knew his day had turned to shit when they entered the mall. They went to Dillard’s first, and the sales lady was happy to use Raiden as a Ken doll. Holly, the sales lady, measured from his head to his feet. Then, she assisted him in the dressing room, bringing in more clothes of different sizes. Holly walked into the dressing room when he was in his underwear. She said oh my god, dropped to her knees while pulling down his underwear.

Then Holly engulfed his cock and sucked like a woman possessed. When she began playing with his balls, Raiden couldn’t hold back and climaxed hard. Holly couldn’t handle it all, so Raiden grabbed an empty drink cup and finished inside it. Holly was in a daze, so he dumped the cup of cum in the restroom sink, returned, and put on the next outfit. He got one suit and two business casual outfits with sports jackets. Then he needed shoes, belts, socks, and, of course, underwear.

The sales lady, Holly, rang up his purchases and was sorry to see Raiden leave, licking her lips. Then Martha, Carmen, and Sofia had to go shopping too. Raiden took his purchases to the Jeep and returned. They finished shopping after 3 p.m. and headed home. When they arrived, Raiden put his purchases away. The suit, sports coats, and dress pants needed alterations, so it was just the shirts and accessories. Then he showered, wore a robe, and went to the kitchen for dinner.

When Raiden went to sleep, he had a precognitive dream. The three Arabic men he saw at Al’s Fine Used Cars were loading a bomb into a van. It was the Sal’s Italian Catering van parked outside the sales office yesterday. He heard them talking, and they planned to park it under the convention center at noon today. It was holding a political rally, and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman was the guest speaker. Raiden woke up after midnight, dressed in dark clothes, and grabbed his ski mask and gloves.

Then he drove the Tahoe into town and parked a block away from Al’s Used Cars. Raiden walked down the alley behind Al’s garage and peeked in the windows. The catering van was inside, with three men sleeping on cots beside it. Raiden teleported into the garage and opened the van’s rear door. The bomb had a timer, so he set it for 30 minutes, returned to the Tahoe, and drove home. Arriving home, Raiden saw a bright flash in the sky and returned to bed.

Early the next morning, Raiden washed the Tahoe and coated it with the secret formula XTM257. The formula would make the Tahoe bullet-resistant and also defeat radar. Then he cleaned the sprayer, returned to his room, cleaned up, and went to the kitchen for breakfast. Martha and Carmen were there, and Sofia walked out the door with Ria and Tia. Martha surprised Raiden and wished him a Happy Fifteenth Birthday. Carmen said they would have a birthday cake for him at dinner.

After breakfast, Raiden went to the lab with Martha. They made up the supply order and sent it to the supply house. Then, he swept the lab for audio bugs and cameras with his detector. The lab was clean, so Randen ran experiments on the computer for the rest of the morning. When they finished their work, Martha and Raiden returned to the kitchen for lunch. Sofia and Carmen told Raiden and Martha about a used car sales lot blowing up in town early this morning.

Raiden finished eating and drove his mule to the cavern. He started the smelter and melted the silver coins. When he got twelve bars made, Radien turned off the smelter and put them into the mule. On the way back to the house, Dana, his contact with SAC (Special Activities Center), called. She apologized for not calling sooner, but facial recognition couldn’t identify the photos of the Arabic men. Without any confirmation or chatter of a terrorist cell working in the area, there was an assessment of possible targets in the area.

When we identified an event at the convention center, we mobilized a surveillance team to monitor it. They were en route when they heard news of the explosion. Dana asked if Raiden had seen anything else, and he said no. Raiden wouldn’t tell Dana about returning and setting the bomb timer. He didn’t know how much damage the blast caused or if there were injuries. Dana thanked him for reporting what he saw and said goodbye.

Camp Eclipse director Michael Barnhill met with Dana on a video conference call with the SAC (Special Activities Center) of the CIA. SAC Director Gil Bowman asked Dana how her new trainee spotted a terrorist cell. Dana told them what happened, and Director Bowman said he was impressed. They discussed their options and decided they needed eyes and ears on the bomb blast investigation. Director Bowman told Dana to integrate her trainee into the investigation using the FBI or Homeland Security ID.

Dana asked how deep, and the Director said, as an IT Tech, to copy their findings. We were the only ones with pre-blast intel and photos. So, with the investigation findings, we can trace their funding source and operational base. The Director said the operation code name was “Second-Hand.” Dana asked about the budget, and the Director said open but keep track of expenses. He also said they wanted bi-weekly updates, and the video conference ended.

Raiden took the silver bars to his workshop and put them into the safe. Then he went to his room, showered, wore a robe, and went to the kitchen. When he entered, everyone was there, so they sat and ate. Ria and Tia told them what the town said about the used car sales lot explosion. Windows were blown out in the neighborhood, but there weren’t any injuries. After dinner, Carmen brought a cake to the table, and everyone sang him a happy birthday. When they finished the cake and ice cream, Raiden said goodnight and went to bed.

Early Wednesday morning, Raiden went to his basement dojo and did his martial arts workout. Then he practiced his Stealth Walk and Strikes. When he finished, Raiden returned to his room, showered, dressed, and went to the kitchen for breakfast. While they ate, Martha told Raiden she didn’t need him in the lab today. So after breakfast, Raiden drove the mule to the cavern and fired up the smelter. He’d made twelve more silver bars when Dana, his contact with SAC, called.

She asked Raiden to meet her at the airport tomorrow at 9 a.m. Dana told him to wear his disguise to match his fake ID for William Carlson and to plan to be gone for the day. Raiden agreed, and they ended their call. He shut down the smelter, loaded the silver bars into the mule, and headed to the house. Raiden wondered what the assignment would be and felt it had something to do with the explosion. He parked in the garage and carried the silver bars to his workshop.

After putting them into the safe, he went to his room, cleaned up, and went to the kitchen for lunch. When they finished, Raiden followed Martha to the lab. He told her he had lab work at college, so he’d miss breakfast and lunch tomorrow. She asked if it would require more time, and Raiden said he didn’t know but would find out. Martha knew lab work at college was code for working for the agency.

Raiden left the lab and went to the garage. Then, he drove the mule to Jackie’s old ranch and inspected the fence line. Three sides of the property fence were fine, but the fourth was nonexistent. There was a grove of trees, and it backed up to the national park. Raiden wondered what was beyond the trees, but he didn’t have time to explore. So he returned home and parked the mule in the garage. Then he went to his room, cleaned up, put on a robe, and went to the kitchen for dinner.

The next morning, Raiden drove his Tahoe to the airport to meet Dana, his contact at SAC. Upon arriving at the airport, Raiden pushed the ticket machine to enter the parking lot. It gave him his ticket, and the gate raised, and he found a parking spot. Raiden looked at the ticket before putting it in the sun visor. There was a small picture of his license plate, but it was blurred, and he couldn’t read it. Raiden thought that was strange as he got out of the Tahoe.

Then he had an idea and took a photo of the license plate with his phone. The picture was blurred, too, so it had to be the formula XTM257. He’d have to check the Jeep, but this would be a great asset for him if it were the same. Being able to blur photos and videos would help keep his identity secret. Raiden entered the private terminal at the airport, thinking about what he could use the formula on, and glasses and hats came to mind. He’d have to be careful with IDs and active surveillance.

He waited in the lobby until a Gulfstream Jet parked outside the terminal. The door opened, and Dana waved at him to come inside. When Raiden entered the jet, Dana welcomed him and had him sit at a small table. She said SAC wanted him to observe and report findings of Al’s Fine Used Car bombing site. Then Dana opened a briefcase and gave it to Raiden. Inside was an FBI ID that said his alias, William Carlson, was an FBI IT tech.

The briefcase had his cover story for the operation, a credit card, and 25k in cash. Dana told Raiden his assignment was to monitor the FBI, Homeland Security, and the ATF’s investigation of the bombing blast. He was to report biweekly to her on the investigation so they could identify who was responsible for funding and planning the terrorist operation. Dana said his operation was top secret, and no one could know he was working for SAC.

Dana advised Raiden to find and rent an apartment with a garage from a homeowner. That way, he could come and go without being observed. Raiden asked if he had to stay full-time at the investigation site, and Dana said no. If he could monitor the activity remotely, that would be ideal. She told Raiden to purchase what he needed but to keep receipts, and he was expected to report to the crisis center on Monday. The government has taken over a vacant grammar school as their staging area.

Raiden asked what SAC wanted, and Dana said everything, including photos, lab results, and reports. She told him to set up ASAP to hit the ground running on Monday. Dana told Raiden to call her if he needed anything, and the meeting ended. Raiden took the briefcase, said goodbye, and returned to his Tahoe. His head spun with ideas, but he first needed an apartment. So he stopped at the local 7/11 and bought a newspaper.

He searched the classifieds for residential rooms and apartments for rent. He found four and made calls to set up interviews. The first one was already rented, but he set up appointments for the other three today. The first wasn’t what he needed, so he politely declined the offer. The second one was ideal, and the homeowner was a young woman who had recently divorced. Her name was Alana McComb, and the house was in an upscale neighborhood. The homes in the neighborhood looked like estates.

Alana loved the idea that William Carlson, his alias, was an FBI agent and that he paid six months’ rent in cash. The rent included all utilities, including internet, and the apartment was furnished with a garage. The apartment was over the garage and had access from the alleyway. Alana said it was for the housekeeper or live-in maid, but they never had one. Raiden read Alana’s mind, and she was excited to have him living there. William signed the lease and got the apartment keys.

The next stop was the computer store. Raiden bought a server, two 10TB hard drives, a high-end laptop, and a leather carrying bag. The sales clerk was happy to put the purchase on his credit card. Raiden returned to his apartment, hooked up his internet server, and downloaded all the updates for it and his new laptop. Then he checked out the apartment and made mental notes on what he needed to live there. When he finished, Raiden headed home.

When he arrived home, Raiden took a picture of his Jeep, and the photo was blurred. That confirmed his belief that the formula had caused it. Raiden returned to his room and packed what he needed for his apartment. Then he went to his workshop and did the same thing. When he was done, Raiden returned to his room, cleaned up, put on his robe, and went to the kitchen for dinner.

Early Friday morning, Raiden went to his basement dojo and did his martial arts workout. Then he practiced his Stealth Walk and Strikes. When he finished, Raiden returned to his room, showered, dressed, and went to the kitchen. While they ate, Carmen gave Martha the grocery list and supplies needed for the house. After breakfast, Martha and Raiden drove to town for supplies.

On the way, Martha asked Raiden if he knew about his schedule. Raiden said it should be Sunday through Wednesday to start. Then, only a day or two during the week. First, they picked up the lab supplies and then went to Dillard’s to pick up his suit and dress pants. After trying on the suit and pants, they headed to the market. While there, Raiden picked up a package of watercolor brushes and a travel-size empty spray bottle. Martha didn’t notice he had purchased anything, so they headed home.

When they arrived, Carmen and Sofia unloaded the groceries while Martha and Raiden put away the lab supplies. Then Raiden took his suit, pants, and the items he had bought at Dillard’s to his room. Lunch was ready when he returned, and they sat and ate. Raiden could tell Martha, Carmen, and Sofia were anxious to go to the hot springs. So when they finished lunch, they headed to the stables.

They saddled the horses and rode to the cave. Raiden watered and tethered the horses, and then they entered the cave. Martha, Carmen, and Sofia rushed to undress and get into the hot springs. Raiden was the last to join them, and when he sat down, he climaxed hard and passed out. He felt a tingling sensation all over his body, like something was being done to it.
