Chapter 4
Raiden went to his basement dojo early Thursday morning to practice the Stealth Walk and Strikes. Raiden watched the video Sensi sent him, and then he practiced it. When Raiden thought he had the movements down, he recorded them. He was close but would need more practice, so he put the laptop in his workshop. Then he returned to his room, showered, dressed, and went to the kitchen. During breakfast, Martha asked Raiden what he had planned for the day.
He said this morning, I’m target shooting on the range. Then, this afternoon, I’m riding Roxie along the fence line. After breakfast, Raiden went to the range and practiced shooting his pistols. Then he moved to the rifle range and shot his .357 Winchester Lever and his Sharps .45-70 and .45-110. Raiden was about to switch to his Barrett MRAD .338 Lapua when he saw a reflection on the hillside over 500 yards away. Raiden put his rifles away and then carried the Barrett into the trees.
He found a spot to rest his rifle and searched the hillside with his rifle scope. When he saw the reflection again, Raiden adjusted his scope, loaded a round into the chamber, and exhaled. Then he fired three quick rounds and waited and watched through his scope. Seeing no movement, he loaded his firearms in the Jeep and drove to the hillside. Raiden strapped on his .45 Long Colt six-shooter and carried his .357 Winchester Leaver up the hillside.
Raiden saw a sniper’s perch and a dead man inside. He would have shot the man again, but one shot was in the head. The rifle was a Barrett 50 cal, and the sniper had a camp set up on the backside of the hill. Barrett gathered all the sniper’s gear and put it in the Jeep. Then he searched him, and all he had was a set of vehicle keys. Raiden picked the man up, threw him off the back of the hill, and headed home. He unloaded the sniper’s gear and searched it.
Raiden was surprised to find the sniper’s wallet and CIA ID in his sleeping bag. The sniper’s name was Russell Lamb, and nothing else was useful in his gear. Raiden went to his room, cleaned up, and then went to the kitchen. William said, you’re late. What’s your excuse? Raiden said he was disposing of a sniper. But it would have been easier to send your ass out and let him shoot at you. Martha asked Raiden why he thought the sniper was after William.
He said the sniper had him dead to rights and didn’t shoot, so he wasn’t after me. So, William, you, or both were his targets. Martha said shit, and Raiden said you’ve got that right. He had a CIA ID, so guess who’s looking to benefit from your death? Raiden finished his lunch quickly and left without saying anything. He could hear people yelling as he drove his Jeep toward the area of the sniper. There was a road behind the sniper hillside, but it would take twenty miles to get there. The shorter way was a mile hike.
So Raiden put on his six-gun holster, carried his rifle, and began hiking to the road. When he got to the road, Raiden began pushing the key fob. He found an SUV parked off the road in some bushes. It was packed with enough supplies to last Russell Lamb, the sniper, for a month. Raiden drove the SUV back to the ranch and parked by the stable. Martha came out of the house and apologized to Raiden for William. She didn’t know what came over him to pick a fight with you.
Raiden asked for her help getting his Jeep. They saddled two horses and rode to the hillside where he had left the Jeep. Martha asked to see where the sniper was, and they climbed the hillside. When she saw the sniper’s nest and the blood, Martha said oh my god. Then she looked out and said you can see most of the ranch from here. Raiden agreed and would set some traps should someone else try to use it. Martha drove the Jeep back, Raiden rode Roxie, and Sandy, Martha’s horse, followed them.
After caring for the horses, Raiden went to his room and cleaned up. Then went to the kitchen and wasn’t surprised not to see William. They ate dinner, and Martha told Carmen and Sofia about the sniper’s nest. Carmen asked what could be done to prevent it from happening again. Raiden said he would set traps on the bluff, and they would alter routes when going out. But I don’t think they’ll try anything for a while. They finished dinner, said goodnight, and went to bed.
Early Friday morning, Raiden went to his basement dojo to practice martial arts. Then, he practiced his Stealth Walk and Strikes that Sensi taught him. Raiden felt he did better and looked forward to recording his session. He returned to his room, showered, dressed, and went to the kitchen. Everyone was there, so they sat and ate breakfast. When they finished, William, Martha, and Raiden went to town to do their weekly shopping.
William dropped Martha and Raiden off at the feed store, where they bought six bobcat traps. While they waited for William to return, Raiden asked Martha if she trusted William to give him his treatments. Martha asked why, and Raiden said he had become confrontational with me and that I didn’t trust him. Martha tells Raiden to relax, and she gives him his treatments with William assisting her. But she understood his concern and would watch William closely.
Raiden asked Martha if the hot springs could be affecting William’s treatment of him. Martha asked what he meant, and Raiden said it made everyone look younger. He wondered if William was more friendly with females when he was younger. Martha said, You’re right. William had very few male friends growing up. Then William arrived, ending the conversation, and they went to the market. When they came home, Martha, Carmen, and Sofia put the groceries away while William and Raiden put the lab supplies away.
Raiden saw a camera and a receiver/recorder box with six cameras inside. They were disguised as smoke detectors, so he knew William was planning to do surveillance on the lab or Martha, Carmen, and Sofia. Raiden read William’s mind, and he planned to install the cameras in their bedroom and lab to watch Martha. William planned to install the cameras tonight in the lab and this weekend in their bedroom. It was going to cause the shit to hit the fan.
After lunch, they saddled the horses and rode to the cave. Raiden opened the cave, and everyone entered ahead of him. He was the last one in the hot springs, and when he sat down, he climaxed hard and passed out. When Raiden woke up, he was floating, and William, Martha, Carmen, and Sofia were still in a daze. He got out and sat in the camping chair, watching them. They all awoke at the same time and exited the pool. They lounged around until everyone was dry, then dressed and headed home.
Raiden held back with Martha and told her about the cameras William purchased. Martha said oh my god, he’s gone insane to go that extreme. Martha told Raiden she’d need to figure out what to do with William and returned to the stables. Raiden took care of the horses and then went to his room. He showered, put on a robe, and went to the kitchen. When William and Martha arrived, they sat and ate dinner. There wasn’t much communication, and when he finished, Raiden said goodnight and went to bed.
Upon arriving in his bedroom, Raiden noticed a new smoke detector on the ceiling. He moved a chair under it, removed it from the ceiling, and went to bed. Then he woke up to someone giving him a blow job and looked down. It was Carmen and Sofia trading off sucking his cock. When they began sucking his balls, Raiden came hard, and they shared his cum. Sofia and Carmen were in a daze when he fell back asleep, hugging and kissing.
Saturday morning, Raiden went to his dojo and practiced the Stealth Walk and Strikes. Then he went to Russell Lamb’s SUV and searched it. He was the CIA sniper, and Raiden hoped he had something to tell him about who was running the operation. Raiden found their file under the floor mat and Russell’s laptop under the back seat. He took the file and laptop to his workshop and hacked into the laptop first. Russell was ordered to kill William and Martha Hunt by Section Chief Bob St. John.
He would need to examine the laptop more and turn to their file. Then he read their file, and it had every detail about them. It even said William was the weak link and that he could be turned if Martha were terminated. It was getting late, so he shut off the laptop, went to his room, showered, dressed, and went to the kitchen. Everyone was there, so they sat and ate. After breakfast, William, Martha, and Raiden took off looking for yard sales.
They stopped at an overpass so William could take a leak. When they checked on him, they found William at the bottom of the ravine. Martha asked Raiden what they should do, but he said nothing. The animals would take care of the body, and we can say William was stressed and took a vacation to relax. Monday, withdraw twenty grand in cash, which will be his travel money. When they returned to the truck, they found William’s wallet, keys, and cell phone.
Raiden asked what pushed him over the edge. Martha said he had checked your bedroom early this morning after I confronted him about the cameras. Raiden said William put a smoke detector camera in my room yesterday, and I found it and removed it. Martha said that’s what pushed him to commit suicide. Then she said let’s continue with the yard sales, and they did. They didn’t buy anything but wanted people to see them, and after the third yard sale, they headed home.
Carmen and Sofia were shocked that William took his life but knew he was unstable. While they ate, Martha asked for their help in the lab, and everyone offered to pitch in when she needed help. After lunch, Martha and Raiden went to the lab to install two cameras William had purchased. Martha said she would put the rest in the house to keep watch on Carmen and Sofia. Then, she handed Raiden a sample bottle of the skin lotion for Jackie, instructions, and an NDA.
He took them and drove to Jackie’s house. He saw the Silverado and wondered why it was still there for sale. Raiden rang the doorbell, and Jackie answered. Then, she pulled him inside, hugged and kissed him, then dropped to her knees and pulled his pants down. Then Jackie sucked Raiden’s cock until it was hard, then put on a rubber. She removed her shorts, bent over, and guided his cock into her pussy. Jackie went wild, meeting his thrusts and climaxing continuously.
When she couldn’t take anymore, Jackie finished Raiden off with a blow job. He came hard, and Jackie was in a daze, covered in cum. He dressed, lifted Jackie onto the couch, and waited for her to recover. When Jackie exited her daze, Raiden asked if she was ready to go again. She laughed, said I’m done for a while and got up to use the bathroom. Jackie returned dressed, and Raiden asked if she had used lotion before going to bed.
Jackie said yes and asked why he was interested. Raiden said William and Martha were scientists who had developed a nighttime skin lotion. Martha thought you would like to try it and give her feedback on your results. Jackie jumped at the chance and signed the NDA. Then Raiden told Jackie she couldn’t tell anyone about the lotion and only talked to Martha about the results. Then Raiden gave Jackie the sample and the instruction sheet.
When he stood to leave, Raiden asked if the Silverado was still for sale. Jackie said yes, but no one had offered close to the asking price. Raiden said he might be interested, and Jackie hugged and kissed him goodbye. He returned home, and Martha asked how it had gone with Jackie. Raiden said good and handed her the signed NDA. Martha said great, and now we’ll get our first outside review. If it’s positive, we’ll need two or three more volunteers.
Raiden asked how long the product trial would take, and Martha said it would take 90 days. Then he asked how much of the lotion she was planning on producing. Martha said not much, maybe 20 to 25 bottles per month. If all goes well, we can discreetly market the lotion for well-to-do clients. Raiden asked what the money was needed for, and Martha said it was for advanced equipment for genetic research. She said the equipment has become automated and controlled by AI, which adds to the cost.
Then Martha said that AI would do most of the research with the new equipment, freeing up our time for other things. Raiden asked how long they would wait to order the updated equipment. Martha said we could order it today, but it would deplete our reserves. But don’t worry. The lab funds are separate and not part of our overall financials. Raiden was going to offer to pay for the new equipment but resisted after reading Martha’s mind. The lab was run off the books, and there would be questions about where he got the funds.
During dinner, the discussion was about William and his erratic behavior. Carmen and Sofia couldn’t believe he would peek in the windows and watch them. When they finished dinner, Raiden told Martha he had something to show her. Martha went to Raiden’s room with him, and he handed her the CIA file on them that he found in the SUV. Martha read the file and said we must be careful now that William’s gone. But they were right. William was the weak link.
Sunday morning, Raiden drove to the sniper’s perch on the bluff and set the six cougar traps. Then he returned home and searched Russell’s laptop again. He found Russell’s emails to his boss, CIA Section Chief Bob St. John. Raiden wrote an email to Bob from Russell to apologize for not giving an update sooner, but he could not get a signal to communicate. He (Russell) told Bob that he had a prime location, but the subjects hadn’t been seen yet. Raiden attached a worm to the email and sent it.
After breakfast, Raiden drove to Home Depot and picked up his camera system at the drop point. Returning home, he saw a yard sale and stopped to check it out. An older lady was selling a metalworks trailer with a smelter attached. Her deceased husband used to travel to civil war reenactments and knife shows, doing repairs and selling his goods. Raiden asked what she wanted for the trailer, and when she said 10k, he said thanks, but it’s out of my price range.
