Chapter 25

Raiden went to his workshop Saturday morning to read the news. Senator Jimbo Samuels had an accident in his office late Tuesday or early Wednesday morning. The Capital Police said Senator Samuels trashed his office in a drunken rage and then passed out. When he awoke, it was dark, and he fell, trying to go to the restroom. He has a concussion and a fractured ankle. When asked how they got the information, the spokesman said that was Senator Jimbo Samuels’ statement to us.

Raiden laughed and thought the SOB deserved it and a lot more. Then he read the news that Senator Alana McComb will lead the president’s new Cyber Attack Task Force. The drunken rage of Senator Samuels was a result of change. The Secret Service must have verified William’s claim to the president’s COS, Glen Lynch. That means his alias, William Carlson, would get another letter or call from Glen. Raiden shut off the computer, went to his room, cleaned up, and went to the kitchen.

He was surprised to see Martha, Carmen, and Sofia there eating breakfast. Raiden joined them and asked what the special occasion was causing them to laugh. Martha said they realized space in the SUV would be a problem. So they were going to town to shop for a rooftop cargo carrier. Raiden told them they would be better off using duffel bags for their clothes and eliminating one ice chest. The duffel bags stack better and can be put on the back seat floor.

If you get a rooftop cargo carrier, you’ll need a ladder to access it. Martha said they didn’t consider that and would look at duffel bags. Then Martha asked Raiden to come with them, and he reluctantly agreed. They drove to town to Walmart and U-haul to look at rooftop cargo carriers. Then Martha, Sofia, and Carmen took his advice and bought duffel bags in different sizes. Everyone would get one large and one medium duffel bag to pack their clothes.

After lunch, they decided that the rooftop cargo carrier would hold duffel bags better, so they got one and a small collapsable ladder. The cargo carrier would give them more room, and they headed home. Unfortunately, it took most of the day, and by the time they got home, it was close to dinner time. The females entered the kitchen to prepare dinner, and Raiden mounted the cargo carrier on Martha’s Yukon.

When he finished, Raiden went to his room, cleaned up, and returned to the kitchen. They sat and ate dinner, and the conversation was about their upcoming trip. When they finished eating, Raiden hugged and kissed everyone goodbye. He’d be leaving early Sunday, so he did it tonight. Then he said he’d try to cope with the peace and quiet, and everyone laughed. They said goodnight, and everyone went to bed.

Early Sunday morning, Raiden drove to town and went to Denny’s for breakfast. Then he went to his apartment, where a FedEx envelope was by the door. He picked it up, went inside, and opened the envelope. Dana told Raiden his assignment was to return to the Hamptons and check into the same hotel. He would be using the same alias, William Carlson. Will was to meet Mick Raider at the Yacht Hampton Boating Club Marina restaurant on Monday at 7:30 a.m. Mick will provide training for your next op.

Raiden thought that was a short and cryptic message. Since he would meet Mick at the marina, he packed his boating clothes, a suit, some dress, and casual clothes. Raiden added some sweats to the workout and 10k cash from the safe. Then he went to the hidden room in the garage and got his disguise and can of the “Blackout” spray. Returning to the apartment, Raiden checked the mail, and there was a letter from the White House. It was from the president’s COS, Glen Lynch. It asked him to contact him as soon as possible.

He laughed, grabbed his bags, and went to the airport. Riden added the fuel treatment to the twin-engine Beechcraft Barron, ordered fuel, filed his flight plan, and did the preflight inspection. Then he took off and landed an hour and a half later at North Hamptons Airport. After his post-flight inspection and paying the landing fees, Will rented a Ford Escape. Then he went to the Sag Harbor Inn and checked in. Once he settled in his suite using his alias, William Carlson, he called Kelly Middleton.

When Kelly answered, Will asked if the shit storm had started yet. Kelly laughed and said it started Friday night. Apparently, serving Brad at his office and delivering his clothes there embarrassed him. Then he showed up after midnight drunk, banging on the front door. Kelly said she called 911, and the police showed up. They arrested him for being drunk and disorderly. Will said wow, he missed all the fireworks and they laughed.

Then Will told Kelly he was back in town for a few days, and Kelly asked him what he was doing tonight. Will said he had nothing planned, and Kelly asked if he could accompany her to the casino night at the yacht club. He asked about the dress code; she said it was a suit and tie. Will agreed to go, and Kelly said let’s meet at my house at 6 p.m., and they said goodbye.

At 5:30 p.m., Raiden took a shower and exited feeling rejuvenated. Then, he applied his William Carlson disguise, put on his suit, grabbed 10k in cash, and drove to Kelly Middleton’s house. She answered the door in a sleek black dress, and he whistled, causing Kelly to laugh. On the way to the yacht club, Kelly told Will that news travels fast here, so almost everyone will know I’ve filed for divorce from Brad. Will asked if he was her boy toy, pool boy, or escort. Kelly laughed and said You are my friend.

When they arrived, the valet took the Range Rover, and they entered the yacht club. An attractive young woman hugged Kelly and asked who the tall drink of water was. Everyone laughed, and she said Tiffany, this is my friend William Carlson. Tiff shook Will’s hand and asked what he did for a living. Kelly said Will’s an FBI Special Agent here to learn how to sail. Tiff asked if he was on the job, and Will told her we could go to the ladies’ room for a body search. Everyone laughed.

Then they mingled, and Kelly introduced Will only by name from then on, thankfully. Kelly visited with friends, and he wandered around tagging and installing his app “Piggy Back” on dozens of phones. Then he sat at the poker table. Will bought in with 5k and played for an hour. He was up 7k when Kelly found him, and Will cashed out. A man stood up and said you can’t leave yet you have my money. Kelly called the man Ronald and told him to settle down. Ronald called Kelly a whore, and Will got up. He grabbed Ronald’s hand, applying pressure to a point in his palm.

Ronald went to his knees, and Will told him to apologize to Kelly or lose the use of his hand. Tears were streaming down his face, and Ronald apologized to Kelly. Will let go of Ronald’s hand, and he tried to punch him. Will avoided the punch and punched Ronald in the stomach with a three-finger punch. Ronald peed his pants and then fell to his knees. People around them laughed at Ronald, and then Kelly and Will left.

On the way back to Kelly’s house, she tells Will that Ronnie is Brad’s friend. Then Kelly said Ronnie brags about being a Golden Gloves boxer, and nobody challenged until tonight. Then he goes down with one punch, and they laugh. When they arrived at Kelly’s house, she invited Will to dinner Monday night, and he accepted. Then they hugged and kissed goodbye, and Will returned to the hotel. He undressed, removed his disguise, and went to sleep.

Early the next morning, Raiden put on sweats and went to the hotel gym. He did a light workout on the weight machine, returned to his suite, and cleaned up. Then he applied his William Carlson disguise and drove to the Yacht Hampton Boating Club Marina restaurant. Will arrived early, so he called the president’s COS, Glen Lynch. Glen was glad to hear from Will and told him Senator Jimbo Samuels wasn’t in charge of the president’s new Cyber Attack Task Force anymore.

Will said that’s good, and he would gladly join the team. He gave Glen his phone number and email address, and Glen thanked him for joining. Then Glen told Will there would be an initial task force meeting at the White House. He would receive plenty of notice, and they said goodbye. Then he thought about programs he’d need to do his job and attack, and tracker bots came to mind. Also, he’d need to alter his anti-virus program to find and quarantine hidden viruses and worms.

Then Mick Raider arrived, and they introduced themselves. Then they entered the restaurant and ate breakfast while Mick quizzed Will on his rifle shooting experience. After breakfast, they went to dock ten and to the same 40-foot sailboat as last week. Will took the sailboat out of the marina and set the sails. Mick gave him directions to an isolated cove where they set anchor. Then Mick brought out a mat and rife case from the galley.

Mick instructed Will on rife shooting from a boat. Mick explained the intricacies of hitting a target while the tide rocks the boat. He said the key was finding your target and counting the seconds between the tide rocking the boat. He told Will that those seconds were his time to shoot. Then Mick laid out a mat and set a Barrett MRAD .338 Lapua on a bipod on the mat. He had Will lay on the mat and pointed out a metal target 50 yards on the shore.

Mick told Will to find the target and count the still-time seconds. Then he handed Will five bullets and told him to fire when ready. Will loaded a round and waited until the boat was still and fired. He missed it, and Mick told him to count the seconds and then split it in half. So the boat is still six seconds, and your sweet spot is three seconds. Will did again and hit the target but the edge. It took him six more shots to hit the target center. Then, they raised the anchor and moved 100 yards away.

They were now out of the cove in open water, and Mick explained that the sailboat’s bow needed to be pointing into the ocean waves. It took Will eight shots to hit the target and then three more to hit the center. They took a fifteen-minute break, and Will shot three more rounds, hitting the target center. They lifted the anchor and returned to the marina slip. After securing the mooring and service lines, they went to the marina restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, Will followed Mick to a residence. They went into the backyard, and Mick gave him diving lessons. Will learned how to operate and put on the diving equipment. Then, he practiced in the pool for almost two hours with breaks every thirty minutes. When they were done, Will followed Mick to a dive shop. He got a wetsuit, fins, weight belt, mask, and a divers knife. When Will checked out, Mick told him they were done for the day. They agreed to meet at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow and said goodbye.

Raiden returned to the hotel and removed his disguise. He was surprised it stayed on with the swimming and read the glue label. It said waterproof and recommended it be removed daily. He’d been doing that and also using the face cream recommended to avoid skin chafing. Raiden showered and lounged in a robe until 5:30 p.m. Then he got dressed, applied his William Carlson disguise again, and drove to Kelly’s house for dinner.

Kelly answered the door and welcomed Will inside. Once the door was closed, he got a hug and kiss. Then they went to the kitchen, sat down, and ate. Kelly said her phone had been ringing off the hook about your confrontation with Ronnie at the casino night at the yacht club. Ronnie is an asshole and a bully, and everyone was happy someone took him down. Kelly asked Will how he managed to take down Ronnie with one punch. Will said years of martial arts training, but don’t repeat that to anyone, or it could be used against me. Kelly assured him his secret was safe.

Then Kelly asked how much he had won from Ronnie, and Will said seven grand. She laughed and said no wonder he was upset. Kelly told Will that Ronnie’s wife, Grace, has the family’s money, and Ronnie is on an allowance. If Grace finds out Ronnie lost 7k playing poker, he will be in serious trouble, and they laughed. They finished dinner, and Will helped Kelly clean up the kitchen.

When they were done, Kelly pulled Will into her bedroom, and they quickly undressed and then got onto the bed. She sucked his cock, and Will pulled her hips over his face and ate her pussy. Kelly climaxed several times, then pulled away and put a rubber on his cock. She got on and rode Will with a sense of urgency, climaxing several more times. Then Kelly got off and finished Will with a blowjob. He came hard and covered her face and chest with cum.

Kelly was dazed, and he laid her on the bed and sucked her clit hard, then moved away. She screamed, climaxed, squirted and fainted. Will left Kelly a note saying he enjoyed dinner and dessert and left laughing. On the way back to his hotel, Will noticed a car following him, so he parked and walked along the sidewalk. When he saw the car park, Will ducked into an alley and waited. A man entered the alley, and Will beat him up. Then he saw it was Ronnie and added two kicks to the balls.

Will stripped Ronnie and applied pressure to the point of memory loss. Then he took Ronnie’s clothes and threw them in a dumpster on his way back to his hotel. Arriving at his suite, Raiden laughed at Ronnie’s predicament. He’d wake up beat up nude in an alleyway without his car keys or money and couldn’t remember anything. Raiden removed his disguise and went to bed.

Raiden woke up Tuesday morning and checked the local news online. There wasn’t anything about Ronnie, but he’d bet the gossip would start shortly. Then he checked his remote server and moved the phone tags from casino night to his private area. He checked a few, and one was Tiff’s. She had an active sex life with females along with her husband. He shut off his computer and got cleaned up. Then he applied his William Carlson disguise, dressed, and went to the Yacht Hampton Boating Club Marina restaurant.

Will met Mick, and they got breakfast. After breakfast, Will got his scuba diving gear, and they went to the sailboat. Mick’s scuba gear and their tanks were in the galley. Will motored out of the marina, set sail, and went to the isolated cove. They stopped 250 yards from the metal target, and Will set out his shooting mat and a Barrett MRAD .338 Lapua. Mick said they were too far out to set the anchor, so it was a risky shot. He has made longer shots from a navy ship, but a 40-foot sailboat isn’t stable enough.
