Grandma and I enjoyed our post orgasmic bliss, each of us relaxing as the sun rose ever higher into the sky, warming the air and chasing away the morning chill. It felt a lot like a Saturday back home with Mom, which was strange. Obviously, Mom wasn’t here, so getting that type of comforting, laid back feeling with Grandma wasn’t expected at all.
I assumed Grandma would want to talk about what had happened, but she didn’t. She looked as content as she could be. She had her feet up on the table, ankles crossed, cradling her coffee against her chest.
I savored the warm, refreshing drink Grandma was so famous for. I didn’t have to rush to finish it because I needed to jerk off in the shower and, if I was honest, that was just because I wanted to avoid any conversations about my dick.
Now, that whole feeling had changed. That didn’t mean I was going to start having my morning coffee dates with Grandma, but at the same time, I wouldn’t have to try to shy away from her either. Thinking about it, I still probably wouldn’t do it again, not unless I was really, really fired up and she just happened to be there, but I wasn’t going to go looking for it like I did with Mom every morning.
After a shower, I was ready to see what was in store for me around camp. I was debating on whether the girls would be waiting for me again this morning. I thought they might be, but it depended on if Ellie made it back to their cabin before Kara’s family got back from town.
“Sam, make sure you’re back in time for dinner!” Grandma called out just as I was about to walk out the front door.
Stopped in the threshold, waiting to see if there was a reason why I was supposed to be back for dinner, but she didn’t explain any further.
“What time’s dinner?” I asked.
“Five o’clock.”
“Okay!” I replied, confused. “I’ll be back on time.”
Neither Grandma nor Grandpa had ever asked me to be back in time for dinner. Usually, they just waited for me to get back to eat. All I could figure out was that something was going on and I would just have to find out later what exactly that something was.
The girls were not waiting for me when I left the house. Not that that was a big deal, but I found it interesting. I made my way towards the pool where I assumed the girls would be and I was right. This summer the pool was the place to hang out.
In my previous summers it had somewhat rotated where the cool spots were, at least for my group of friends. I actually preferred the hot springs, except for that summer with Mina and Mona. I loved to watch them dive. I loved to dive too, but they made diving look like some kind of art form and the rest of us did it because we were trying to make big splashes because it was fun.
It wasn’t hard to notice the girls when I showed up. All four of them were sitting on the edge of the pool in the shallow end, their feet dangling in the water.
I waved at the foursome, but only two or three of the girls waved back. Courtney, Clair, and Ellie waved but Kara scowled as if she was mad about something. My gut reaction to the way she looked at me screamed that Ellie hadn’t made it back to the cabin in time last night. That was the only logical explanation.
Ellie waved too, but it was subdued, as if she didn’t want anyone to see her acknowledging me. Clair on the other hand kept her head tilted down, but high enough that she could still see me. Her wave was tentative and hesitant. When our eyes met, she blushed such a furious red I could see it from across the pool area.
Instead of walking towards the girls, I decided to hang out around the deep end of the pool, which was also close to the hot tubs. The water itself was way too crowded and I had little to no interest in dealing with that at all.
I was on my own for most of the morning. It wasn’t until the sun was overhead that Clair walked over to where I was sitting.
“Sam?” Clair’s voice was softer than normal. Usually there was a sharpness to it, but today, it was as if those edges had been dulled beyond repair and she didn’t know what to do about it.
“Hey, Clair,” I looked up, squinting because the sunlight that just so happened to frame her body just so.
“I ... I mean, we were thinking about going to the hot springs,” She was nervous, that much was obvious. Not only was there a tremor in her voice, but the color in her skin had risen, flushing a dull pink. She wouldn’t look at me though, her eyes were locked on the ground in front of her bare feet. “Do you think that would be okay?”
Clair’s eyes came up for only a fraction of a second, meeting mine before quickly retreating down to her toes.
“Uh, sure?” I replied, confused as to what was going on. The way she looked at me completely dumbfounded me. It was like she was asking my permission to do something. It was really weird. “I don’t see why not...”
“Thanks, Sam!” Clair’s head snapped up and she met my eyes, her lips spread in a wide happy smile, and she started hopping up and down on the balls of her feet, obviously excited. Like I said, it’s weird. “Thank you, thank you. We will! You can come too, you know, if you want to.”
“Thanks, but I am going to hang out over here.”
“Are you sure?” That excitement vanished just as quickly as it had shown up. “I would ... I mean ... it would be fun if you came over too.”
This was way too weird for me. It was like Clair was a completely different person from yesterday.
“You don’t need my permission, Clair.” I rolled my eyes at her.
“But...” The sorrowful look on her face almost made me choke up. She looked like she was on the verge of tears.
“I’ll come over there in a bit, okay?” I hurriedly said.
“Oh, yes That’d be great!” Her eyes danced, excited again. It’s like her emotions flipped like a light switch on and off at the drop of a hat. I wasn’t sure what to make of it. “Please do! Please!”
“I will, I promise.” I assured her.
At that, Clair spun and skipped over to where her friends were sitting. She literally skipped. It was a sight that seemed wrong and hilarious all at the same time. Never in my life would I have thought I’d see her skip like that. Something was going on that I didn’t understand at all.
When the girls walked by where I was sitting in the hot tub, Kara didn’t give me a second glance. She was pissed off about something, but I had no idea what that something was. Ellie, Courtney, and Clair all looked at me, though.
Courtney waved at me as she walked by, all smiles and happiness, laughing, and carrying on. Ellie met my eyes for a moment before she blushed furiously, waved her fingers at me, not wanting to move her hand where someone else might see it and started giggling when I smiled at her. She was obviously a bit flummoxed from last night’s affairs in the hot tub, which was understandable.
Clair, she watched me. She smiled and waved, but the way she was looking at me was crazy. The look on her face coupled with the way she was walking made me think she was just waiting for me to tell her she couldn’t go or that she had to stop, and she would. In that very instant! She kept looking over her shoulder at me when they passed too, it was freaking weird!
I sat in the hot tub for a long time trying to understand what the hell was going on with Clair and her friends. The biggest thing that had completely and utterly perplexed me was Clair’s attitude. I just couldn’t wrap my head around how she was acting. She was a totally different person from the girl I had first met. It didn’t make any sense, not one bit.
She had been different yesterday after her barrage of orgasms, but who wouldn’t in a situation like that? I was pretty ruthless about the whole thing. Not letting her recover, I just kept going as she kept going. It was a vicious cycle, and I started to second guess myself if I had done something wrong. Something that had changed her somehow.
I completely lost track of time while I debated everything that happened with Clair. It wasn’t until the hot tub was suddenly full of adults and I was effectively pushed out that I realized how long I had been there. I had a sudden rush of panic when I realized I had forgotten to go meet up with the girls. Not that normally was a big deal, but the way Clair was acting, it probably wouldn’t be good if I didn’t show up at all.
All four girls were lying out along the edge of the water when I appeared from the trees. I didn’t take the path that went around, instead choosing to cut straight through. Seeing how the girls were laid out, I assumed the group was collectively working on their ‘all over’ tans. I suspect it had more to do with getting some sun on the more sensitive spots that had been protected from the sun prior to yesterday.
I was tempted to try to sneak up on them, but that plan went to hell in a handbasket after the second step out from the trees.
“Sam, you came!” Clair exclaimed, jumping up to greet me. “I was worried you weren’t going to...”
“I told you I would,” I replied.
I shrugged, trying to act as if it wasn’t a big deal. Clair, however, had a different opinion because her eyes sparkled with sudden appreciation and joy at my presence. Then she moved over to my side, snaking her arm in mine and holding it there with her other hand placed over my own.
“Come on, we were just hanging out and talking,” Clair grinned, subtly trying to pull me forward, but not going all the way through with it so it would be my idea to walk over there and not hers.
“Oh, what were you guys talking about?” I asked, genuinely curious. Maybe I would get lucky and find out why Kara was giving me the evil eye earlier.
“Just girl stuff,” Clair smiled. She leaned in, lowering her voice. “But if you want to know, I’ll tell you.”
“Hey, what’s going on with you?” I asked, turning to look at her straight on. She didn’t let go of my arm, but lowered her head slightly, submissively. Her eyes, however, never left mine but that sparkle in her eyes dimmed.
