Jake thought for a moment, first thinking more caffeine, then getting her meaning.

Jake pushed a few bottles around until he found a large bottle of Grey Goose.
“Do you want something with it or?”
“Just a straight shot will be fine, Jake.”
He noticed that she was watching him as he looked then reached for the shot glasses. He brought two down.
“Gonna’ join me?” she asked with a smile.
“Yes, yes I am, I need something.”
Jake poured two shots and handed her one. “Cheers,” he said and downed his shot. He watched as she downed hers too. The difference was that she looked good afterward, and Jake thought he’d downed a lit torch! He started coughing.
