Chapter 6: The Counterattack of the Grove

During the free time of physical education class, Wu Hui chose a quiet corner and sat alone in the shade of a big tree to cool off.

The sunlight jumped between the gaps of the leaves, casting dots of golden light, covering his figure with a layer of soft light and shadow.

This was a moment that belonged to him alone, without bullying or control.

In the soft sunlight, two uninvited guests were approaching from a distance.

Jia Jia and Li Tianxing found Wu Hui together. Jia Jia whispered softly, with a hint of pleading:

“Wu Hui, I want to ask you for a favor. Since my brother was in high school, he has had a special liking for classmate Chen Ling. After school, can you help me call her to Taoyuan behind the school? My brother wants to confess to her.”

Faced with this sudden request, Wu Hui’s heart was stirred.
