Chapter 2

Two hours later, a group of young college students parked their cars in front of a huge house in the area. They were getting out of their cars and holding duffel-bags full of clothes and accessories.

They were led by a young man named Terry, with his girlfriend Chelsea by his side. They were both carrying bags. Three other young couples were also getting out of their cars with their bags in their hands. These couples consisted of Kenny and his girlfriend Barbara, Ricky and his girlfriend Lizzy and Josh and his girlfriend Cindy.

“This is where we’re spending the next two weeks while on break,” Terry said to them all. “You all will each have your own room. There are five rooms in the house. One is downstairs while the rest are upstairs. Chelsea and I are sleeping in the downstairs one while the rest of you can sleep upstairs.

“Larry and Lindsay should be here any minute,” Kenny replied. “They said that they had to make a few stops on the way here.”

“Chelsea and I aren’t concerned about them,” Terry answered. “We know they’ll be here soon. They know where the house is.”

Terry was a very good looking dark haired guy with an athletic built. His girlfriend, Chelsea, was an attractive red-haired girl with medium sized breasts. Kenny was a sandy haired average looking guy while his girlfriend Barbara had brown hair and small breasts. Ricky was also sandy haired while his girlfriend Lizzy was natural blond with medium sized breasts. Josh was brown haired while his girlfriend was naturally platinum blonde.

As the young couples were getting themselves organized, a state trooper car was coming up in front of the house. Terry went over to the driver’s side of the car and saw that it was a trooper who was a friend of his family.

“Hello Trooper Sheldon,” Terry greeted. “What brings you here?”

“Hello Terry,” he greeted back. “I came here to warn you and your friends about something.”

“Like what?” Terry wondered.

“About a dangerous lunatic being on the loose,” Trooper Sheldon explained. “He escaped early this morning from the institution for the criminally insane. When he went on his killing spree several years prior, he did it in the guise of a police officer after he murdered an officer. Chances are, he might resort to the same thing again and go back to killing. Just be careful and stay indoors overnight. Also, if you and your friends wander into the woods, don’t walk into them too far, because he might be hiding out somewhere in them waiting for anyone foolish enough to wander too far. He also is a devil worshiper, which is why he murders as he feels he will satisfy the devil when he kills someone.”

“Thanks for the tip, Trooper Sheldon,” Terry said. “I’ll keep that in mind.”

“Be safe and be careful,” Trooper Sheldon replied as he was driving away.

Terry walked back to where Chelsea was standing.
“What did the trooper want?” Chelsea wondered.

“He was warning me about a dangerous lunatic on the loose around here,” Terry explained. “He escaped this morning from a mental institution and he might be in these parts. The trooper explained that several years ago, he went on a killing spree disguised as a cop after he murdered one. He murdered almost a dozen people on his killing spree and he warned me that this loony might do the same thing again.”

“I remember that,” Josh said. “It was in the news and it was one of those hot stories that are difficult to fathom, but it was true.”

“So do I,” Ricky added. “The local media dubbed him ‘Psycho Cop’ because of that.”

“Yeah, I know,” Terry replied. “But technically, he wasn’t a cop nor is he one. Just a sick impersonator.”

As they were talking, Larry and Lindsay were driving up. They both got out of the car with bags in their hands.

“It’s about time you both showed up,” Terry said teasingly. “What took you’s so long?”

“We had to make a few stops before coming here,” Larry explained. “We both told you that.”

“I had to stop at the nursing home to see how my grandma was doing,” Lindsay also explained. “We both simply lost track of time while visiting with her, which is why we’re a little late in coming.”

Larry was a good looking dark haired guy while Lindsay was a brunette with much bigger breasts.

Terry unlocked the front door and opened it. He and the rest walked right in

“Okay one and all,” Terry began. “Chelsea and I will sleep downstairs while the rest of you can choose your room and sleep upstairs.”

“Okay Terry,” Ricky answered.

As the rest of the young ones headed upstairs, Terry and Chelsea walked into the downstairs bedroom. Chelsea saw a large bed fit for two and was marveled at the size of it.

“This used to be my grandparents room,” Terry explained. “When my cousins and I spent the Summer here, we slept in the rooms upstairs. My parents slept in one room while the rest of us slept in the others.”

“WOW!” Chelsea calmly exclaimed. “You and your family must have had some really wonderful times here.”

“We did,” Terry answered reflectively. “Good times to remember for the rest of our lives. There’s also a tennis court and a swimming pool out back where we used to have lots of fun swimming and playing either tennis or badminton.”

“Far out!” Chelsea replied excitedly. “We can have parties by the pool and in the court!”

Upstairs, the couples were getting settled into their rooms. Kenny and Barbara were in the first room. Ricky and Lizzy chose the second room. Josh and Cindy were in the third room. Larry and Lindsay were in the last room.

As Terry and Chelsea walked back into the living room, Kenny and Barbara were coming from the upstairs and approached them.

“We hear that there is a lake in the area around the forest,” Kenny said. “Barbara and I would like to walk there to check it out. Do you know where the lake is, if you know about it?”

“Yes, it’s a few miles down within the forest. You can’t miss it,” Terry explained. “But remember, be safe and be careful as my state trooper friend said as there is a dangerous loony on the loose. Don’t wander too far into the forest.”
