Miscellaneous Myth: Cronos

Preface
This story is a little different than the others in the Tales of Olympus-scape.
First off, it will have little to no sex, and it will be a time travel story. If that is not your thing, feel free to walk away. Not every story is for every person.
Second, the author highly suggests not letting this be a reader’s first story into this saga as it is not beginner friendly for the lore, and it will be light on relationships. Feel free to start at In the Beginning or even These Three Kings as they are a beginning in their respective series and are fairly kind to newcomers.
Other stories in this series are inspired by various mythological sources and contemporary works like God of War, Percy Jackson, Lore Olympus, Supergiant Games Hades, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, GoodTimes: Hercules, Mythos, Hesiod’s Theogony and The Library by Apollodorus, and so on and so forth.
This story incorporates many of the same elements and may even hint at characters from familiar narratives, but it does not follow a linear storytelling structure like The Wedding or Rise of the Olympians. For clarity, the events of this story are positioned between the beginning and end of The Wedding and Rise of the Olympians, fitting within that narrative timeline.
Stories in the Miscellaneous Myth Series will mostly be stand-alone.
While the main stories in Tale of Olympus are linear and interconnected that follow mythology closely, the stories in Miscellaneous Myth are more freeing. While these will contribute to the overall narrative that is being told, they will also stray from the more accepted myths and be more original in nature to explain certain details of characters and places in a way that is satisfying to the author, and (hopefully) to the audience.
As per usual, any similarities to current real-life events, persons, or existing works are purely coincidental. However, some historical events from the Ancient Era, to the Bronze Age, to early CE, may be used for fantastical or fictional retelling purposes.
Further, some other franchises and stories may be hinted at in this story as homage, but not theft or fan-fiction.
Quotations from these and other works are included for thematic purposes and to homage, and no infringement of copyright is intended.
This story is primarily the creation of the author, with assistance from proofreaders and an editor.
Please rate accordingly and thank you for your consideration. Feel free to comment on every easter egg you see in this one.
