Chapter 1: Our Family Tree

My father’s family comes from a traditional mid-west farming family. Sex was not even discussed let alone openly practiced and incest would have been considered a sinful perversion in accordance with the laws of their strict protestant upbringing. Even so, all this didn’t stop my father and his brothers from being typical horny teenage boys. According to my dad, all three of them had their share of “conquests” during their school years and he considers it a miracle to this day that none of them got a girl pregnant.

As for my dad, he started having sex with the girl who would someday be my mom when she was fifteen and soon afterwards with Linda, her younger sister. In both cases they had already been with other boys although they never revealed who they were while the dated my dad. It wasn’t until my dad proposed that my mom revealed that it was her father who had been her first when she was fourteen and that the next year he was also Linda’s first when she was thirteen. My mom accepted his marriage proposal but only on the condition that he allow her to maintain her intimate relationship with her father and sister.
