We arrived on the beach, outside of our beach house, with around 28 people. Both Mums and Dads, the coven High Priest and his wife the High Priestess, together with a few coven and school friends. We stood on the beach bare footed and the people around us in a circle for the hand-fasting. We started with tying our right hands together with a braided cord ribbon made by Luna. As explained by the coven High Priest, the colours represented: White for Purity, Red for Passion and Love, Blue for Fidelity, Yellow for harmony and Green for Fertility. This did cause the group to giggle. They represent the Earth, Air, Fire, Water and the Spirits of the Gods and Goddesses. We stated our vows to each other by saying our name to each other and by taking thee to be our wedded partner until death departs us and we pledged thee our troth. The High Priest explained as in common law they cannot marry until until they obtained the age of 18, however in our coven way they are considered men and women responsible for their actions at the age of 17 years. Both Joe and Luna do plan a civil ceremony when they turn 18 years of age. I now declare them engaged in common law and married in pagan law. Congratulation to Joe and Luna. We moved into the club where to everyone surprise, I did get Toby to set up a room with drinks and finger food. I did plan for 35 people so plenty of food was available.
