Chapter 3

I woke up and my mind was racing with all of the information of the last two days. As this was Sunday, we normally had a quiet day at home. After breakfast I mentioned to mum and dad I was going to the farm to have another look around. I rang Luna and she agreed to come with me.

On arrival I parked my car in the garage, not to advertise to anyone we were there. I walked into the house and put away some supplies I did purchase, bread, milk, butter, jam and some soft drink and fruit juice packets.

We had a drink and walked around inside the house looking in the cupboards. There were plenty of her items still in very good condition. We kept most of them. I was happy to have Luna with me as she recognised many craft items, there were put to one side on a cabinet. We kept the cutlery, plates and dinner sets. We would use these. I used the toilet and noticed the sign about septic system and not to flush anything other than toilet paper down. Luna did live in the country a few years ago and explained the note, it was directed to females and cleaners.

We entered the main bedroom and I pulled Luna onto the bed with me. Luna kissed and cuddled me then asked “Can we leave this room till our wedding night. I mean we do not have any sex until our hand-fasting please?” I agreed as I could see it was important to her. I was about to get off the bed when I felt something like paper in the pillow.
I opened the pillow case and found the first of a few notes to me. This one explained what was in this room and the number for the safes. We looked at each other then the walk-in-wardrobe. The clothes were Miss Rose size and we placed these in three piles after, as she stated, check the pockets and bra cups. We did find some jewellery and money. Shoes, there were around 40 pairs, some did fit Luna and we left those on the shelf. I saw the door to the safes, there were four safes mounted to the wall. Opening the top one, this had paperwork, share certificates and some investment gold bars. The second safe contained cash, a rather lot of cash, we closed these safe door for later counting. The third and the larger one did contain jewellery, with a note. ‘Joe some jewellery for your girlfriend and for you to use’. I kissed the note saying “Thank you dear Miss Rose.” Luna smiled at my actions.

The fourth contained special jewellery for her witches covens. Luna asked me, “Please do not touch any until you have been initiated, however do you like the look of this wand?”
I put my hand over the wand, not touching, and felt a forward movement even before I fully asked my question. Luna smiled at me. She collected a tea towel and wrapped the wand inside. She said “I will present you with your wand, this wand, on your initiation my future husband. We will explain on the night.” Luna took the wand out to the door table to take home. I closed the safes and door front. On Luna’s return I did kiss her. Luna responded and understood my actions.

We looked in the other bedrooms and did remove her clothes, we kept any blankets and covers. I looked in the garage and did find some packing boxes. We packed away the clothes and shoes. Looking at Luna I said, “I’ll pick up my mum and bring her to your house and they can go through the clothes to see if they would like any before we take them to a charity shop.” Luna hugged me for my thoughts. She had already taken out eighteen dresses, many blouses and skirts she liked together with some shoes and sandles. We had lunch on the back porch of jam sandwiches and soft drink. Very memorable to us. I put the milk and bread in the freezer, butter and jam in the fridge with the drinks.
