Chapter 2

Luna had woken up at 5am and just held me, I woke at 6am, seeing Luna in bed with me and awake I kissed her. She wanted the toilet so I showed her the door and went to the kitchen, putting on the kettle. When Luna came to the kitchen looking like a dream, I hugged and kissed her, then I went to the toilet. Mum and Dad hearing the kettle got up and greeted us. Mum was really smiling at us in her private joke (the picture). We had a lovely breakfast prepared by mum and Luna. It was Eggs Benedict with some lovely herbs sauce prepared by Luna. Even Dad liked it.

After a shower and change of clothes, I check my bank account to see how much money I could spend today. Hell my bank balance had over $4 million in it. In my emails was a note from Stuart advising further funds will be sent next week. I walked out white faced. Dad looked at me and asked “What up son?” I took him into my bedroom and closed the door, I showed him my bank balance. He said “Bloody hell son you are set for life. Lets keep this quite between us until next week.” He held and hugged me tightly.

I took Luna home to change clothes and invited Luna’s parents to the farm later that afternoon. I would pick them up after we returned from shopping. Luna spoke quietly to her mum whilst changing. I took Luna to the large local shopping centre and went into a jewellery store. A young girl asked, very politely “How can I help you today?”
I asked to see some engagement rings with wedding band sets please. She pulled out a few ones from the shelf. I asked “Do you have any that are more elegant, price not a problem?”
She looked at me, then said “Come this way please, and took us into a private room. The girl explained “This room is wired for sound and has camera’s within, this is protection for all parties. Is that OK?”
I smiled “Yes we understand.” Bring out a tray of 12 ring sets, none really interested either of us. These were just all diamonds. The second tray had a few with some coloured stones and diamonds, again nothing interested us. The third set of trays, it had a lovely four ring set in old gold, with Amethysts, Ruby, white, pink Diamonds and Citrine. I picked up the box and stood up, Luna was looking at some others sets. As she taught me I closed my eyes and asked the mental question ‘Are these the rings for us?’ I felt my body lean forward meaning ‘Yes’. I sat down happy. The girl looked at me and smiled. Luna looked at me saying “Anything?”

I showed her the box of four rings, friendship, engagement, wedding bands for both of us. Her eyes widened, she stood up and did the same action only this time she almost lost balance going forward. I held her and she sat down really smiling and nodding yes.
The girl looked at the set saying “A beautiful set in Rose Gold, is this what you would like?”
We looked at each other and kissed, We replied quickly together, “Yes please.”

She looked at the price and her eyes opened, I have to get the manager. She pressed a button and a few moments later a senior person entered asking “Yes”
She showed him the set and the price. He looked at us, “You wish to purchase this set sir and madam. Do you require any financial assistance?”
I answered ‘No, can I pay by card please?”
He looked at me, “I get the forms and card machine sir, won’t be a moment.” The girl showed me the price, $49,000. I smiled. He returned with the forms and we signed them. Luna was just looking at the rings. I put my card into the machine and it asked for my pin. I entered this, then the machine said awaiting clarification. My phone rang, it was the bank confirming it was me and my transaction. I did. The machine asked for a six letter code. The banker advised the code and I entered it. The transaction came back approved. You should have seen the faces of the staff, both astonished. The manager told the girl to put just her code on the docket, not his. This meant she collected the full commission. He said “Thank you sir, I will record on our files, when you get married, if the rings need any adjustment it will be cost free.”

Luna tried, well I put the rings on her fingers and two of them did fit nicely. I took them off and returned them into the ring box. My ring was just a bit too big for me. The girl advised “Bring them in four weeks before your wedding and we can adjust to fit, you lovely couple.” We thanked them, with the manager shaking my hand. I exited with a very happy Luna, who would not let me go. We went and got some lunch.

Driving home Luna asked “You know I am a witch and before you give me the rings, I would like to bless them in circle. Will you allow me to do that darling?”
I replied “Can I be with you please?”
Luna looked at me, “You wish to become a witch, like me?”
We were stopped at long changing light, I looked at her and said “Yes, I do love you.” Her eyes watered and she looked loving at me. When we got to her home, she jumped out of the car and ran inside to her parents. I parked then entered. Her father asked me why I wanted to become a witch?
I replied “When you see our farm property, I will explain there sir.”
