Chapter 10

Three weeks after the court case Luna was arrested and taken to the Australian Police office in Robina. During the travel she rang me and told me about the arrest, I told her not to say anything until I arrive. I rang Stuart’s office and it was closed. I noticed another mobile number on his business card and rang that. Stuart picked up the phone saying “Yes who is this?”
I replied “It’s Joe and Luna has been arrested by the Australian Police and being taken to the local office?”
Stuart advised “I’ll meet you there in 15 minutes, park behind their office not in front. That is a time zone area and we don’t know how long we would be attending. See ya.”
I replied “I did tell her not to say anything until I arrived.”
Stuart replied “Good on ya.” and he hung up. I change out of my school clothes and drove to the Australian Police. I met Stuart parking his car. We entered the front desk and asked to see Luna. They asked “Who brought her in?”
I replied “I don’t know and you are not allowing us to ring her and get an answer.”
She looked at the arrest record and found no registrations. She said “she is not under arrest.”
I explained, “My fiancee rang me, less than 30 minutes ago telling me she was under arrest by your officers, Luna would have just arrived within the last 15 minutes?”
The girl smiled “Is that Miss Luna Moon?” I nodded my head. “Now I understand. Please sign this register and attach these badges and come around this way please. She took us to the 3^rd floor and whilst walking along the corridor Stuart saw Superintendent Howard, he knew him. They greeted and when Stuart mentioned her client Luna Moon was under arrest. He was very surprised and came with us into the interview room.
He asked the officers, “Is Miss Moon under arrest and if so who authorised it?”
One answered, “We were told by Woods in communication sir. Miss Moon is refusing to answer any questions at this stage including her name.”

“Well constables go and get Woods from communication and wait in my office.” They left the room. He rang for another Sargent to attend. On her arrival he explained, “Sally can you take over Miss Moon’s request for information please. Woods got her arrested the idiot. Miss Moon, Stuart and young man (me), we have, or should of, requested Miss Moon’s help with the arrest of Bruce Sims. He is not answering any questions and we are hoping in some way, a process to open the case against him. I apologise for your treatment so far Miss Moon. You are not under arrest, that I promise. Please we do need some help gathering some information.”
Luna replied, “Sure, I would like to see that person put away for good. How can I help. Did he have a USB stick on him and do you have it here? He was a great one to have all information with him. He did teach me how to encrypt items on it.”
Their faces both lit up, Sally said, “Yes but we cannot decrypt it, even with our tools?”
Luna asked “Can I see the key, some white gloves and a laptop that is Not, repeat Not connected to the internet or WiFi.”
The Superintendent said, “Sally what ever Miss Moon request please attend and keep me informed.”

He walked away not happy with his junior staff. On the way he picked up the file and the Inspector in charge of the case and had a talk to them in his office. Apparently they did leave his office with their tails between their legs. Stuart was told later.

Sally came back with the items for Luna and a pencil and paper. Luna looked at the key and asked for another blank USB key of the same or larger size. Sally went to get one. Stuart left us at this stage advising to call in need. Sally on returning noticed Luna was looking at the outside of the key and wrote some notes, well passwords on the paper. Getting Sally to sit next to her Luna explained, “He has written his passwords in the witches ways. He was a fan of camel case writing as well. Here is five possible passwords. Lets give it a try.”

They placed the USB key in the slot after Sally logged on to the laptop. Bingo the first password worked. Sally eyes opened up and she smiled. Opening his book of shadows on the key she saved this across open to the hard drive. Luna did the same with the other files open, copy, save on the hard drive. Then Luna copied all of the files to a new USB key. They tried this on another laptop and they could read the files.
Sally asked “What was the password Luna?”
Luna replied “His ego. It’s ‘Warlock Bruce the Great’ without the spaces. It’s not a good term.”

She wrote the password in a text file and copied it to copied files for reference. Luna looked at a date 8 years ago and screamed on reading. I ran to her and held her. She said “The bastard, this is how he used a young girl for his pleasure and killed her.” She went to an entry two years ago and read how he poison one of the coven members. He used herbs that if use correctly help you but he really exceeded the dose and unless you look for it in toxicity test it would appear to be normal causes. Sally do you have a printer I can print some pages on and not by WiFi?”
Sally collected a printer and connected it by USB cable, Lucky the laptop did have the printer driver installed. Luna printed out three pages and started to read some of the witches symbols and she teared up.
I asked “What wrong darling?”
