We arrived at the Crescent Moon pack after a very boring 2 hour drive. As we pulled up to the pack house we all noticed how the pack itself was a ghost town. I got out of the Tahoe and started to walk up the stairs to the pathetic looking pack house. My Beta Camren, and my Gamma Brian followed a few steps behind me.
Before I could knock on the door, Alpha Dean opened it with a welcoming but horrible smile.
“Alpha Rowan, I am very pleased you came to visit. Our pack is overjoyed about your presence.”
He reached out his boney hand for a handshake. I took his hand in mine and let go as fast as i could. I did not like him one bit, but had no reason to seem disrespectful.
My Wolf agreed
“Alpha Dean, I will hear what you have to say. I will not make any decisions regarding the matter until I have contracts written up and I thoroughly look them over. I can not guarantee any outcome today.”
Dean’s smile falls slightly and he welcomes us into the old home.
He leads us through some hallways and towards his office.
As we walk past one heavily locked door, I smell a very faint but amazing smell. The smell of honey, apple, and a hint of vanilla. Could this be my ... I found her!
