Amaryllis

We wake up and the first thing I see when I open my eyes is my confused mate.

We quickly get dressed and start our walk back to the pack house.

“We are going to have pups.”

I look at him questioningly. That is the part he is thinking of? Not that it’s a bad thing, I was just expecting him to be thinking about a war coming. I was mid thought as he came in front of me with his huge muscular form and took my hands.

“We are going to have three boys!”

He is so excited that I can’t help but giggle.

“Yes, you are going to be a papa.”

He looks like he just relieved the gift of all gifts.

“When we get back, I will have Cam look into any files we have on the King wolf. Then I will have Brian up the patrol for now. We will also gather the pack for an announcement party.”

There’s the Alpha I was expecting. Wait ... party?

“What is the party for?”

“To celebrate and announce our pups of course.”

He said his last sentence with the attitude that screamed ‘obviously’.

I couldn’t stop the red in my cheeks at the thought. Three babies, the heads to push out, the times the huge belly. I started to feel sick.

I leaned over a big warm rock that was sunbathing and tried to collect myself. Rowan notices and is at my side immediately.

“Ro, baby, we should probably go to the doctor first to check how far along I am.”

“You are completely right, I will mind link my men and have them start their assignments While we go to the doctor. We should also plan to move our wedding up as well.”

“Why would we move our wedding date?”

“It sounds like we will be having a very busy future, so we might as well have our special day in the calm weather.”

“Okay, I don’t think I can wait much longer anyway.”

He kissed me on the cheek And picked me up bridal style. His god-like features look even better when the sun hits him just right. That is when I realize something...

“How do you even do the job of a goddess? I didn’t even think about what that meant. How will I be the one in charge of everything?”

My mate looks at me with the sweetest expression.

“My love, it is in your blood, relax, It is what you are mentioned to do.”

My body relaxed a little bit, but I am still nervous. What if I mess up?

Rowan Pov

We are in the doctor’s office now and I can’t help but feel excited. Three Alpha son’s. Strong ones at that. I swear it is impossible to have my Alpha face on when I am near my mate. I probably look like a weak puppy dog with my dumb smile right now, but I don’t care. I will have a family. I don’t have a family much anymore due to my mom passing and never knowing my father. My mom ran this pack until she passed away from an illness. I was sixteen when I became Alpha. No siblings, no parents, no family. Now everything has changed. I am Rowan King, the strongest Alpha of the strongest pack. I will have a family again. Then something clicked in my head. What if my dad is still alive? We assumed the moon goddess (which I still can’t believe is my future mother inlaw) was talking about the king of wolves. What if she was talking about Raymond King, my father.

I was snapped out of my deep thoughts as soon as the door to the office opened.

“Luna Amaryllis, we are ready for your examination.”

We got up and followed the doctor to an examination room.

“The baby is still probably too small for a regular ultrasound so we will need to use the wand.”

What is she talking about? A wand?

She walks out and grabs the machine that was on wheels. It reminded me of the TV we used in school to watch Bill Nye.

The screen turned on and she grabbed the wand. She positioned my mate to be on the edge of the bed. The Doctor loaded the wand up with lube stuff and I couldn’t help but let out a small growl. I don’t like that something other than me is going inside her.

My mate put her hand in mine. ‘Don’t worry my Alpha, you are way bigger. You are not replaced.’

I smiled at that mind link. Goddess she is perfect.

“There will be slight pressure as I move the wand around.”

The Doctor then stuck the wand in my mate. She moved it around for what seemed like forever. Then, the screen showed two dots. She moved it again and showed us the third.

“All three Pups look healthy”

I could see the joy on my mate’s face as she looked at the screen. She was proud.

I look back at the funky TV.

I already love my pups. My little dots. Our family.
