Chapter 17

Rowan

She glowed through her scars for about thirty minutes. I wrapped her in the softest blanket I could find and carried her to the bed. Her wounds were now closed and she was no longer covered in blood.

I continued to pray as the lights got brighter.

The lights flashed and I used my arm to shield my eyes.

“Rowan?”

“Amaryllis?”

I uncovered my eyes to see my mate awake. I hugged her and cried again. She hugged me back and I felt her warmth.

Thank you moon goddess.

“Baby, what happened! I was terrified. I thought I lost you...”

“I am sorry I tried to give up. I won’t do it ever again. I love you”

Did she just say she loved me?

“I love you so much baby. I missed you”

She got out of the covers and walked to the closet.

“Baby ... your still in the nude”

“Ro, we are mate’s. You will see me eventually. Why tiptoe and waste time?”

“Your scars,”

“I know, they are ugly.”

“No, baby, they are gone.”

She looked at me with a confused face. She ran to the bathroom to see for herself. She then turned around and stormed back into the room.

“Rowan! What did you do to the mirror?”

“ ... I broke it”

“I know you broke it! Ugh! I need to see what you are talking about”

I whipped out my phone so fast it flew out of my hand and onto the floor. Opening my phone I took a picture of her.

I have a NUDE!!

I gave her my phone and she looked at it with a smile. After a few minutes, she handed the phone back to me and started to dig around in the closet again for an outfit.

“Hey hun,”

“Yes my sweet,”

“You can delete the picture now.”

“Pff, not happening baby. It is my most prized possession now.”

“Please”

“You owe me this picture! I was crying like a bitch less than an hour ago because I thought I lost you.”

I tried to use my puppy dog eyes. There was no way in hell I would delete this picture.

“I am sorry Rowan. How about I make it up to you?”

“I’m listening.”

“Mark me.”

“Yup that will work!”

I grab her waist and pull her to me. Goddess she smells so good. I quickly take my clothes off and lay her on the bed.

She giggles and bites her lip. I can see her eyes traveling down my body. I then see the fear in her eyes as she sees the rod that will enter her body.

“Are you sure you are ready?”

Please be ready, please be ready, PLEASE!

“Yes, I just wasn’t expecting it to be that big...”

She is perfect. I am proposing soon I swear.

“Baby, I will try to make it as pleasurable as possible. I promise.”

I kiss her on her perfect lips and hear a moan. The most beautiful sound I have ever heard.
