CAST and PLACES

Included here are all named characters in Las Amadas and The Team to date (there will be more; current as of Chapter 6). Feel free to message me if I have missed any; I am quite happy to correct errors of commission or omission. Birth dates, if known, are noted in parentheses; otherwise, Beth’s estimate of age is noted; in team rosters, ages are provided as of the season’s start. I lead with what we might consider Beth’s nuclear family, although “nuclear” in this case is a fair bit more expansive than the adjective usually indicates in such situations. To restrict knowledge to new readers of the future of characters, the cast list treats most as of their arrival in the narrative.

NOTE ON THE UNIVERSE

Beth Williams, the single most important character wrote a diary concerning her coming of age (becoming more adult-like than most children her age, her entry into a sexual life, and her taking on a mantle of leadership in multiple venues), essentially initiating it on her 14^th birthday (4 May 2017), in which she detailed many aspects of her life, bringing it to a conclusion on 22 Aug 2018); the diary was published as the SOL story Beth. The next day, the Las Amadas (a group of, primarily, girls of various ages who had aggregated as a family and lived in the old Jacobsen house within the Williams compound) began a journal of the group/family’s life that is this SOL story. Roughly a week into the journal’s story-time existence, I moved everything – story and characters – from the Beth Universe to my recently erected Ridiculous Universe (which see). That transportation of the story into an alternate universe produced some quirky differences between the two stories. Among the most critical of such changes (some will manifest down the road) are the immediate change of birth dates for a few characters: Civia Palecek (from 24 Nov 2005 to 24 April 2005), Kanda Obi (from 23 Jan 2005 to 17 Jan 2005), Kota Brigham (from 18 Jan 2005 to 12 Jan 2005), Padme Fahrad (from 30 Apr 2005 to 30 Jan 2005), and Taylor Abernathy (from 28 Apr 2008 to 28 Apr 2007). It’s weird, the side effects of changing universes.

THE TEAM MEMBERS

Members of The Team were all on the 2018 premier team which won the state championship, most of whom were on the same team the year before, which also won the state championship; some were on the 2017 Central High team which won the regional league title. Due to the camaraderie engendered by those championship years and all members of the 2018 team learning that the two boys (LA members and staff of the team) were in a sexual relationship with the girls of the LA, a small subset of the team conspired to have intrateam nudity permitted, although the aim was getting that in place in time for the post-season get-together that would be their first effort to keep all the team members together despite most graduating off the team at the end of the season. In the two weeks at the end of the season, the locker-room protocol went from clothed in the main portion to just underwear (2 items, one each covering chest and pelvis, whether girls or boys), to teams of two showering (as per the LA’s method, but with boys not included), to same with the boys included, to sexual play at the state championship meet. During the meet, the team stayed together in a secluded house in which nudity and extensive sex took place, including instruction on oral sex (fellatio and cunnilingus).
