Chapter 3

What a surprise! Two of the prettiest and most popular girls were now going with social outcasts. And even stranger is that their relationships are some of the best and longest lasting ones in the school. They’re happy. No big PDAs, but lots of hand holding, affectionate touching, and loving glances. We couldn’t believe it was happening.

Stacey and Lucy were the same vivacious and charming girls they ever were, but their appearance was different - no makeup, haphazardly dressed and coffered, crudely trimmed fingernails, unshaved legs and armpits(We speculated about pubic hair.), and sometimes no bras. Stacey once excitedly told us what she what just learned from Albert about Einsteinium gravitation. She says that she is happy to have shed the burden of being a queen bee. What’s going on?

They come to parties and other social events without the guys and dance with each other or other guys. When asked about their partners, they reply that their partners are shy and uncomfortable at parties. At lunch, the two couples often sit together, but, sometimes Stacey and Lucy will join us. Then Albert and John usually sit with other nerds. There’s a picture on the bulletin board of the governor presenting Albert and John the first prize at the State Science Fair for the design of a new type of telescope.

One thing we assume is that they are fucking their brains out, Stacey and Albert certainly did after the spin-the-bottle game. They must have a fantastic sex life, not like the mediocre sex we’re getting, if we’re’s getting any. What’s their secret?

Stacy and Lucy are silent on what’s going on in their private lives, but they do say that they have great communication with their partner. When we ask questions about specific sexual practices, they answer authoritatively, but usually preface the answer with something like “I’ve heard that.” They have become our place to go when we have a sexual question, even when it involved lesbian or masturbatory practices. They can give critiques on positions and even give advice on anal and oral sex. Sometimes they would get a question about an interesting novel sexual practice, and they would say, “Give me a few days to think it over.” They are our sexual encyclopedia.

We would love to have - great relationships and great sex. Joan even asked if they would lend her one of their lovers for the night. The answer was a swift refusal; their men are strictly one-woman men. When we asked about how to find such men, the reply was to find a nice man who wants to learn how to take care of your needs and for whom you want to do the same. The important words there are “nice” and “learn.”

Some girls took Stacey and Lucy’s advice. Amy took up with Fred, a kid in our class that we barely knew existed. Lisa took Michael. Anne got Sam. So far, they are developing relationships. Apparently no obvious great romances or sexual fireworks, but it looks good. They all seem to have good attitudes and to want their relationships to last. Lisa told me that she and Michael are learning how to please each other.

Now, let’s see, who’s left for me to go after?
