Chapter 2

I haven’t seen much of Albert since he took up with Stacey. I had just finished the first part of a python program to refine the dimensions of the astronomical telescope we designed, when Stacey’s friend, Lucy, stoped me.

This was a momentous event, since girls don’t usually don’t talk to me. I’m awkward around them. This time it was different. She wanted to know about Albert and my project. She talked about herself and said that she felt Albert and Stacey had such a nice relationship. She then asked me to help her with a math problem. Her hand felt so nice on my arm as I explained how to use the chain rule for differentials. When she left, she gave me a quick kiss on my cheek and told me that she enjoyed being with me. I think that I felt her touch and kiss for the rest of the day.

Three days later she we met and she suggested that we take a walk along the river front. I think that I talked more than I ever have. When she took my hand in hers, I was almost exploding with joy. Eventually we had to part, but she gave me a quick kiss on the lips. We made a date to see each other the next day.
