Chapter 70

Starry Days and Rainy Nights
Memories fall Like Rain
White Shoes with Nail Polish Stars Restrain
Strawberry Scented Savior I know you
What else can I say, what else can I do
All I ever wanted was you
The stars glow green
10 foot high in high gloss sheen
daylight trapped outside
filled with everlasting pride
Rain backing my denial
I put other’s first
In hopes of becoming noticeable
Deserving to deny my thirst
Forever unquenchable
Maybe I’ll forget my sins
Rain fell dripping, Cloth and time spinning
I was never worthy it’s true
But what else can I say
What else can I do
All I ever wanted was to be with you
Facing each breath
As a step toward death
And maybe in the rain
Strawberry Wafts down the lane
Drenched the water’s stain
Reaching within, breaking my sense of when
The star’s glow green
In patterns and postures
Painted in high gloss sheen
Dimly lit, Time blurs
Slowed to a crawl
But, still moving too fast
And always a might too long
Memories fall like rain with similar affect
I speak hopelessly compelled
What else can I say
What else can I do
All I ever wanted was you
