I move to backroads and dirtways
To fine the best place to enjoy a sunny day
In pastoral beauty, I find a clearing
In a forest so endearing
As my lady lucy hums to a stop
My kitten prowls for a perfect spot
To spend a day with sunlight swimming from atop
I produce supplies ad if it were a plot
And it strikes me so suddenly
A thought that never should occur to me
I might die with a smile on my face
And end this chase
She purrs her contentment
As my will is spent
