Chapter 24: Missing You Already

Stream of barrels glow red behind me
I’m looking back
As your subtle voice does remind me
Echoing along with the track
A moment with no family
To intervene on our fun
Simple blue cloth
Covering my faithful steed
As it carries us so readily
Enjoying our taste of the sun
Before falling prey to sloth
That unseen by those who’d plead
With cold rolled wandering
For every thing they feel
That we should do or be
In order to fit there
Desired category
Guilty of more than plundering
As we face the world with a deal
Facing death among pine trees
A virtue of being fair
Passing on through purgatory
Into the most sweet hell
Of your caress
Knowing it will end
Down and out in Lucy’s back seat
Waiting for an end for existence
Just so I won’t miss this
Taking more than a fleet
For a boy like me to bend
As you provide your address
Through vocalized words and perfect smell
A stream of barrels glow orange in front
Of me as I look ahead
Through black hair and beauty effulgent
Heading home with a bit to much said
To be who we once were
Slightly lonely all I know for sure
Is two feet is to far
To be separated from a morningstar
