Chapter 19: Canopy
Suggesting Wild Cherry Blossoms
I inhale darkened hair
Smoothly succulent the maiden fair
As all the world comes
To an end, the end
Where branches finally bend
Under the canopy
Sweet hell personified next to me
I can think of no better place
To allow myself to waste
Away into divine nothingness
Enclosed in leather wings, I settle for less
Enjoying a simple taste
Of a devil with a pretty face
Inhaling forbidden fruit
Immorality long since moot
This lays beyond good and evil
The duke plays, knowing we will
Song and substance weighing on my mind
Speaking platitudes to be kind
Suggesting cherry blossoms
I inhale darkened hair
All the world comes
To serve my maiden fair
Under the canopy
I rest aimlessly
Sweet hell personified next to me
Inspirational ecstasy
Enjoying life as I waste youth
Splitting myself in two
No thought of couth
Whole here, I’ve nothing to do
But enjoy a moment of bliss
And a hell sent kiss
Under a canopy
Of all that I should be
Tasting of the fallen
From grace, from heaven from the dream of normality
Suggesting cherry blossoms
Hell sweetly personified next to me
